So first, this is probably one of the best and easiest gift ideas you can give to a loved one or friend. There is a LOT of good about this frame so I will just do it punch list style...1. Great color, pixel density, and brightness.2. Super super great software that allows you to "pre-set" the tech stuff prior to gifting it for those less technically inclined.3. Ability to synch to google cloud images.4. Ability to allow others to add images to your frame from their devices.5. Unlimited image storage in the cloud.6. Great cable management and high quality power cord - you'll see what I mean when you get yours.7. The software makes this this frame worth the price alone. DO NOT BE FOOLED.. these frames are MOSTLY about the software and user experience.. not the frame. You can get great looking frames, but the software (app) experience is what really matters.8. Auto off feature - pretty snazzy..9. On frame controls including swipe for next picture..10. Easy WIFI setup.In summary, a great product.. not the cheapest because it's so great and has a lot of thought put into the system as a whole -this is why you get nice things.. it's for the over-all long term experience, not to get the biggest for the least in my opinion.

So this is not my first digital frame rodeo. I purchased a different brand several years ago for gifts for the grandparents. They were fine but honestly, not so easy to use. I am tech savvy and I had difficulty uploading photos and sending them across the country to the grandparents. And needless to say, they struggled to use the frames so it was not a great fit. And the frames would often fall over because the cord got in the way. Annoying.Enter Aura! I received my frame in one day from Amazon and within 5 minutes, I had it plugged in, connected to my WiFi network and was uploading pics from I Phone! We are putting together a gift for my spouse to celebrate our 30th anniversary so I will be loading it with pictures from over the years. My 2 older kids were invited via the app to add their favorite photos. My son said it was very easy. As soon as he sent his pics, I could see them in my App and on the frame.The frame itself is beautiful. I bought the Shale which is a dark steely blue, almost black. It feels like stone as it has a texture to it. The stand was easy to attach and I love that the plug fits into the stand so its flush. And I think its cool that you can adjust the photos so they fit within the frame , via the app. The app is really intuitive. It has a great feature that categorizes your pics in different ways, for example by person. I was able to go through my several thousand pics (I use my phone for pics more than communication) and pic out the ones that had my son and daughter in them. Finally, the touch sensor on the frame that allows you to advance pictures is a really nice feature. You can also adjust how the pics scroll, timewise etc via the app but if you just want to look for a certain pic, you tap and go.I have only started playing with the frame and planning my "gift" but so far, I am really pleased with this product. It looks great and shows off my pictures beautifully. It will be a great way to keep our kids near and connect our families, in real time!

So, first things first...this thing is expensive. I ended up buying one for me and one for a grandparent for Christmas, so I definitely had pause at the price. I wanted a way to "share" Christmas with my parent across the country, as they are not traveling due to Covid. I bought one for myself first to try it out. Setup was pretty simple....turn it on, download an app, answer a few questions, upload some photos and you're done. There is one feature I like for myself but maybe not for my parents. If your frame is in landscape mode and you upload a portrait picture, it auto-crops the picture or you can adjust the portion of the picture that will be displayed. It's pretty simple for me, but sort of complicated for my parents.Any any rate, the picture quality is really nice, it's bright and crisp, and the setup is easy. I bought one for my parents. I was able to walk them through the setup in about 10m and we started sharing photos together. I like how my frame and their frame is a separate "account" so I can have different pictures on their frame vs our frame.Overall I'm very happy with the purchase. I wish it was a little cheaper, but it brought several smiles on a Christmas we couldn't share in person.

This was a family gift for my wife’s birthday. Very happy with this purchase. The ability for family members to add pictures through a phone app is awesome. The pictures go on the Cloud, with no limit of pictures, and no cost. The frame brings down the pictures through your WIFI. Ease of setup of the frame is great feature. Loved the ability of family members able to add pictures to the frame before the digital picture frame box was opened. The picture quality is amazing. The frame itself is not cheap plastic, but very good looking and high quality. I did a lot of research before buying this frame and not disappointed at all. Anyone looking for a high resolution, ease of use digital picture frame, this is definitely the one to buy.

Super easy setup, you can bypass the 10 meg limit when you use google photos. The frame turns off in low light, if that is a problem you can set it on manual mode and it stays lit. Very pleased with the picture quality.
