Emile Henry1.1 Qt. Garlic Pot | Burgundy

I do love my Emile Henry, so it follows to reason that I would get this. Works great at keeping garlic fresh, longer.

I finally got this Garlic Pot, which was on my Emile Henry wish list. I was originally worried that the pot was going to be too small but rest assured it is big enough to hold a few cloves, so I'm really happy with that.

Great looking, and holds a lot of garlic

For a company that usually has great products, this one is a huge disappointment, especially given the cost. The ceramic part isn’t round and is misshapen. The cork lid came with an edge that is chipping off. It also doesn’t sit flush on the ceramic part since that’s not round. Unfortunately the box was recycled before I caught these quality issues. Otherwise I would have returned this and bought something else.

It took 3 tries to get one that I could live with. If I didn't get an acceptable one after the 3rd try, I was going to give up. I really wanted it because I like the red. I got a food storage bowl from the same line and it's beautiful with no issues. The 1st try at the red garlic pot looked like the rim chipped but they glazed right over it. The 2nd try had several noticeable glazing imperfections (like a pale pink dot and a bump at the rim) and the rim was not round so the cap needed force to be put on and taken off. The 3rd try has one small glazing dimple, the rim isn't round and there's a slight wobble but I think I can live with it. sigh.

Gute Aufbewahrung und zudem auch dekorativ. Ich liebe die Produkte von Emile Henry. Gute Qualität. Schöne Farbe.
