This is more like thick liquid than a paste, it runs, drips. It does seal, but too much waste.Not recommended

Trimmed my overgrown old bonsai and put this stuff on it. Within a few days, new growth everywhere!

Great product
This comes out of the tube as a greenish paste, it drive nearly clear. It does a great job of sealing and the tree can grow under it. It is far superior to the tar like "paint." I use it for grafting and to heal wonds on trees.
