Are these thin or thick?

There thin but not thin like men’s dress socks. They’re thicker like an ace bandage. But not as thick as a sports sock. Best way to say it is they are a heavy duty dress sock. Super support. Very flexible. They give great compression. They fit very tight. At first you’ll think too tight. But at the end of the day that’s when you’ll see how the compression works. Two years and I’ve only used two pairs.

A pair is 2, one left one right, that would be 16 scocks equaling 8 pairs, not 8 scocks as shown in the photo which is 4 pair. Which is it ?

It is 8 pair as listed in the “Features/Description “ portion on the Amazon page.

Are these truly 20-30mmHg medical grade compression? The package doesn't mention that and they aren't very tight.

The compression rating is not mentioned. A local pharmacy carries these and describes these as light to medium compression. I do not believe these are 20-30mmhg. These are likely somewhere between 8 -15mmhg.
