I use heat shrink tubing a fair bit. It is invaluable for sealing an electrical repair or when creating a custom light fixture...I tried this tubing out since it said that it was waterproof and I wanted to make a connection that would be outside and exposed to the elements...I had no idea!! This stuff is so cool! At first I was a bit concerned because it seemed HUGE, compared with tubing that I have used in the past...However...Not only does it shrink down a HUGE amount to really cinch the connection. It thickens up when doing so, which makes a really nice sturdy thick cover for the wires...As if that were not awesome enough, it has a heat activated glue inside the tubing which melts as the tubing shrinks and totally seals the entire connection!! This is so much better than typical heat shrink tubing where the seal is tight but not sealed...I am totally impressed and will be using this type of Heat Shrink tubing almost exclusively from now on...

I bought it to seal the connection between my pond fountain and an extension cord. I had already sealed it the previous year with silicone and gorilla tape and it worked fine last year but I did this for extra protection while I had it out. It shrank to about 1/2” which was just short of sealing tight on the cords and would not shrink further so I used hose clamps to seal it. Next year I think I’ll probably strip this and the tape off and use 1.25” 3 to 1 which should seal tight.

Works good for coax connections for the amateur radios and works good joining different size tunes for sucking transmission fluid and oil out of the car. Useful to have around.

I have never tried such a product. It works. A regular hair dryer “Will not do the job!”You will either need a “high heat gun”, or a propane torch” to make this product shrink as indicated. But once shrunk, it works great.

I used this 10 ft 1” shrink wrap to cover an 8ft x 3/4” fiberglass anchor pin which was causing splinters. It worked perfectly. This is a sturdy tough product with a heat sensitive adhesive inside.

I use to buy those little 500 or so piece kits that had all different sizes of heatshrink, and while those kits are great and is a great idea to have at least one, I always seemed to run out of one specific size, this size. Having a whole long piece of it (which is how this comes, one long roll) is super nice because I dont have to worry if the one that comes in the kit will be long enough, or I will have to cut them to make them smaller, simply eye gauge it, cut it, if its not right re-do it, what are you gonna do, you got 20 feet of it.5/5

This heat shrink was required as heat shrink provided in hand warmer kit was to small for Can-Am outlander throttle lever. The heat shrink was perfect for the job. Thanks for great product.
