How true is the size please. My husband is usually a medium.

I think it is true to size. I bought it or my daughter's boyfriend and he hasn't complained.

Can yo return if unsuitable

Dont see why not but it's made in China so it will take time. Careful of size and the zip is on the opposite side

how can you exchange an item for a different size?

Amazon will e mail you a code which is scanned at a post office or were ever to send back , then order another size .
