Well made and designed tool for J clips. They operate smoothly and effortless. I have arthritis and even after going through two bags of J clips my hands are fine. Highly recommend for anyone building animal cages from hardware cloth.

Well worth the few extra bucks. Didn’t hurt hand after hundreds of clamps. Takes little effort to make them tight and secure. Hold the clamp in place until you’re ready. If you’re using J clamps. Just buy em. You want regret it

Works great but a bit hard to grip since it had to open so far. It does the job.

I did not like the price, but seems this is the only seller. Once I bit the bullet on the price tag, I got a great product. It did not work very well with my J-clips purchased at Tractor Supply, until I used my Dremel grinder to buff down the upper lip like a millimeter. Once that slight mod was done, it correctly and easily bent the J-clips without causing pain or sore hands like cheaper, less ruggedly built versions. It is worth the money, and it is a treasure tool in my chest. I would buy it again, but I very much doubt that this tool will ever break as it is built nice and strong. If you bought the ones from Miller or Tractor Supply, return them and get these, period.

I got these because I kept having bruising and pain/bruising from another brand of j-clip pliers that I originally bought. The broader handles spread out the pressure so you can get the clips nice and tight without getting bruises.

My husband and I have built many rabbit enclosures with these pliers and they are comfortable and heavy duty enough to use regularly.

I love this tool! Dare I say it's kind of fun? I definitely am wasting a lot of j clips throughout the project but it is user error and the challenge if some of the angles I am using. I'm attaching hardware mesh (19 guage) to a chain link fence to secure my chicken run from predators. It seems to be working well.
