Men's Analogue Automatic Watch with a Rubber Band Promaster Marine, Silver Tone, Strap

It is a watch of a great apriencia, very sporty and informal, has a very soft touch and very well made lines. It is a little small for my taste, just a little, but it does not detract any merit.It has a very adequate precision and power reserve for its price, the painting of the markers and hands is really bright in the dark, I was surprised. The rotating bezel has a precise operation and a firmness that makes it reliable.The watch strap is a bit stiff, making it a bit uncomfortable when you first start wearing it. I hope that stiffness translates into durability.

My only problem is the date … The background is black and it’s hard to read sometimes … Hands are perfect and the lume is excellent for the money …. It’s accurate and it’s also hackable.. It’s a perfect entry level dive watch… For the money you just can’t beat it… it’s held up well and I work in a plant manufacturing air handlers working around sheet medal for 12 hours a day …. My problem with watch bands of any kind is that I sweat so hard on them they smell bad after about three days .. This runner strap is durable and it doesn’t smell bad after several months of wear underneath a sweaty glove … It dresses well for all occasions….

My new citizen promaster just arrived today. I recently purchased a Seiko Orange Samurai so a lot of this will be a comparison between the two. This watch feels quite a bit smaller. I believe the diameter of the case is 41 mm whereas the Samurai is 43.6 mm. It doesn’t sound like much but it IS noticeable. While my Samurai makes a statement, this watch is somewhat understated. The dial is beautiful. Fit and finish is excellent. The case is mostly polished with a brushed finish on top of the lugs. The band is a little thinner than my Samurai and rubber to the Samurai’s stainless...but this is a watch you can wear with jeans or as an outdoor activities watch and know it will take a licking...well you know the rest! The lume is bright and long lasting, the location of the crown makes the watch super comfortable. The bezel has great ratcheting action and lines up perfectly. Its an automatic so it never needs battery changes which can upset the factory water integrity. I love it...but the I love my Seiko too. I also have an Eco-zilla but I would give that one only four stars since it sits way too high on the wrist while this watch and the seiko wear much flatter.

I love this watch. I prefer automatic mechanical watches and own several "finer" watches that are much more expensive. I love them but don't prefer to wear them for scuba diving, snorkeling with the kids, or sailing small boats. This watch is perfect for these and looks perfectly in place on the water with a navy blue nato style nylon band. It is nice looking, rugged, and accurate to less than 10 seconds per day. I wear the others for nights out with my wife and business functions but I don't actually know if anyone notices but me. I'm ordering another version with the red and black bezel.

I'm really glad that I could get this piece! Shipping was originally expected to take a month long, but ended up taking only about 10 days. Mine came with the hackable 8204 movement (even though it says (8203 on the dial). The only thing I wish that it came with was the N.D. limits chart that you often see with this watch. Mine came with a blank blue strap instead. If anyone ever wanted to swap their N.D. limits strap for a blank one, please let me know! I'd take you up on it. Overall great watch though.

El reloj es muy bonito lo único que no me gustó fue el juego que tiene entre el bisel y su caja pues al golpearlo suavemente suena acero contra el acero, no se si se deba a un imperfecto o si es así.

Purchased this watch nearly 2 months ago and have been wearing it daily. It is now my primary wear.Incredible value. Bezel clicks and retains position nicely, iridescence lasts about 30 minutes before fades out completely in pitch black. Crown screws down perfectly, winds well, and manipulates the hands and date great. The watch band is more comfortable and higher quality than I expected and I definitely will not be changing it out.Taken it to the local pool 2x a week since I purchased to practice free diving apnea (only 4 meters) and have never had a problem. It's easy to read underwater and stays firmly in place on my wrist. Even the second hand is legible underwater.... if I bring it within 12 inches of my face. :)Mine has been running +6.5s fast per day out of the box. Really exceptional for an automatic.I have a small wrist (6.25"), so I was afraid this 42mm face would be too big, but it wears much smaller than it is and is lighter than I expected.The only thing I wish it had is hacking, but I knew that when I bought it.Would definitely recommend and buy again.

Citizen Promaster - Been looking for a reasonably priced automatic watch for a while and this one came up on sale for £160 and i'm so glad i got it. Love the dark blue face and black bezel. Its a bit smaller than i thought it would be which is good as i don't like bulky watches. Build quality is excellent, hasn't lost any time since i got it. Seen some negative comments about the strap but to be honest i don't mind it; for the money its fine and looks ok. I've ordered some nato straps anyway as i prefer them - for a tenner a strap it transforms the look of the watch. Bezel movement is firm and requires effort to turn, again this is good i don't want it turning every time my sleeve catches it or i knock it; i don't sit there spinning it like a fidget toy and if i need to measure time i'm confident it wont move. Overall i love the look of it, the crown at the 8 position is a nice feature too, more comfortable and you don't catch it on your wrist. Lume is good as far as i'm concerned ive had no issue reading the time in any light. Automatic movement is also great; nice and quiet and hasn't stopped or lost time since i got it. Overall this is a great watch that looks the part and doesn't break the bank. Even at over £230 i'd still consider it.

je l’avais déjà eu avant et vendu ! Je l’ai acheté une deuxième fois tellement cette montre est magnifique.. le mouvement automatic est précis et la montre est robuste. Étanchéité certifié 200 mètres. Prix imbattable. Le look est agressif et intemporel. Merci citizen

Il Citizen NY-0040-L17 è un orologio mitico in quanto tra la fine degli anni '90 ed inizi anni 2000 venne adottato dalla Marina Militare Italiana e dato in uso al Gruppo Incursori. Tuttora è tra gli orologi più usato dal personale delle marine di tutto il mondo. E' bello da vedersi; molto comodo da indossare e con il nuovo movimento 8204 ha anche il fermo della lancetta dei secondi. Tiene il tempo in maniera fantastica. Unico neo il cinturino in gomma che risulta piuttosto rigido. Per tale motivo l'ho sostituito con un' altro sempre della medesima fattura e colore ma in gomma fluorata che permette di indossare l'orologio senza quasi sentirlo al polso. Segnatempo bellissimo. Lo consiglio anche per il prezzo contenuto.
