This strip light is a handy thing and gives a little more light when required. Not as bright as i thought or hoped they would be though which is a little frustrating. The lead has a usb of which can be plugged into a local port. In my case, i have a usb port on my sewing machine and all i need to do is flick on the toggle switch Of the lights and i have the instant light. The strip fits perfectly into the under side of my machine and adheres very well. I have tried to include images of these lights used in different ways...with my machine light on and off and with just the strip light on. It comes with small clips of which you can hold the lead out of the way. Definitely gives more light...i would personally Prefer something brighter.

Wow is all I can say! It’s a fabulous gadget which makes sewing so much clearer, don’t know how I managed to see before!! Plus a lot cheaper than I’ve seen elsewhere

This has been great for me to use in my studio. Low light often makes the keyboard difficult to see so attaching this to the underside of the midi controller above it, with the suppled sticky back hooks is perfect. I could have stuck it using the adhesive strip on the back but didn't want to fully commit to having it there forever. It has a nice sensor touch power button and the light is bright white. There is also a good length of cable so I can reach my USB hub easily with length to spare.

Versatile, clear and bright. Backing is good and sticky. However, there is no dimmer function - it's either on or off!

I have bought a couple of these. They are perfect for industrial machines as well as domestic. Work on new and old machines. You need a power source from a USB such as a phone charger or extension lead with USB ports. I would recommend to any fellow sewers who like their sewing area to be well lit.

FAB sewing macjine light and very bright and easy to useOnlly does not stick on very well and had to add cellotape over the top as the ends kept separating.but the actual light it FABULOUS and totally transforms your vision while sewing
