I struggled with a taped, flimsily rigged key fob for a VERY long time. Who knew you could replace just the exterior case?! When it stayed together, the device still worked great but was WAY too risky to carry around. After the last time it fell off of my key chain, I thought "there has to be an alternative". Googled it, Amazoned it and problem solved! No more tape for this girl!!! Assembly was super easy. I just slipped the interior mechanism from the broken case and popped it in to the new Viper cover. Sweet! Should have done this sooooo much sooner. I could have saved loads of time looking for the taped up old thing. Highly recommend. It works great! No programming necessary. Now the outside matches the inside. :)

Wish they would come up with a stronger design. That part with the screw breaks all the time but these are an exact replacement and fix the issue well.

It replaced my broken one.
Like=fit replaced my broken one and the two buttons are much more sturdy. Dislike=should include sticker that had the specs of each models that this case compatible with so user can peel and stick on the case back that applicable to them.

But it works better than my old one. It's only the shell not the transmitter. The light in my transmitter was loose so I soldered it now works like new. Before I noticed that the light was loose I was thinking it was the batteries.
