I have had one of these for about a year now and just purchased two more. They make the PERFECT sized cake pops! The baby cakes iron that makes 12 at a time, makes cakes that are very small, and the nostalgia cakepop/donut bakery actually makes them xl sized. This iron has served me well.In response to previous negative reviews. One person said you needed a certain skill level for icing? I hope she wasnt referring to frosting. The best coating for these are melted wiltons chocolate wafers. it takes some practice, but it isnt rocket science either.someone else reviewed it at 1 star before they even used it.another person commented that they would like to e able to remove the plates to wash it ... sounds good in theory but they do not remove as that might change the alignment.If you are looking for a regular cake pop iron, this is a great choice!

wish it came with more/better instructions besides *cake batter must be thick* - ok - I didn't have any of the cake batter they listed so I used another - don't recommend just cutting down. Also - regular frosting is a no go - you must have experience at making candy (like truffles) to make a thin coating. Other than that, it is a great gift for the kiddos

I bought this so I could practice making cake pops for my daughter's wedding. It is very easy to use, as long as you make sure to use thick batter and don't over- fill the holes. I have made cake pops and brownie pops. The cakes take only 3-4 minutes; brownies took closer to 10 . No need to add any oil or anything to grease the holes, they are non-stick. Very easy cleanup.

I bought this machine on a closeout after Christmas for $10. I is so easy, for valentines I'm going to make Red Velvet with icing!! I also can't wait to make crab balls or clam balls in it. Fast and Fun.

Okay I got this for Christmas, and literally it was the only thing I asked for since I wanted a cake pop maker. I used it a couple days after with just a regular boxed cake mix and they turned out awful. They were only half circles. I'm going to get a cake pop mix and hopefully that turns out better
