Portable grill for trailer*-edit
With using SS screws to hold down burner tube this corrects biggest problem w/ this grill. Which was the shifting of burner tube in transit, locking up grill cover. Also great is you can order replacement parts from Camp Chef at a reasonable cost. I also have a Weber Q, but found this lighter and easier to carry for RV. I actually find that this grill has held but great an is still working fine. At $80 less than the other, w/ lockable cover and 1/2 the weight.bargain..Edit-4/14- tried to open and grill and burner had wedged between the top and bottom edges. This made grill impossible to open. After my wife's help, as you only can open about 2". I had to bending the grill to get open (30 minutes- frustrating) I was able to open. As another review sate you have to wire burner and drip panel down or if you move it you can wind up w/ problen. There is a screw hole to tie down borner, but no bolt was provided. Plan to fix these flaws or do not buy this grill. Or do not turn on side, tilt or rattel.Pluses--Well made, w/ exceptions. Solid, lid laches down.-12k BTU VS Weber of the same size-8K. And this burner is U shaped for better more even heat and SS.-Capable of searing steaks or burgers -has the heat best control of any of the portable grills I used.Easy to clean, and looks nice.-Fast cooking and bigger than it looks, as another reviewer commented., I can easily quickly cook burgers for 8 people.Negatives--1st one came w/o outside box perfect, inside box damaged and grill bent. Amazon error, but Camp Chef seems to have problem putting adaquate packing on items.-Second one shifted in transit. I had to spend an hour going thru back of grill to move grate and burner to be able to open grill. Another reviewer said it also, unless you tie down grill and burner they can actually slide around so you have to reposition before cooking. Mine had shifted to where the burned was under the grill, pushing the grill corner up the edge of top door, and all the shaking would not free it. Easy fix, but should be addresses at Camp Chef. It could be a problem if you are unable to open grill.-Legs do not lock up or down. So you have to hold legs down while placing grill. If it is hot, forget about moving w/o potholders. You have to keep twist tie on legs to store.-I wish back of cover did not have 2" gap between bottom/top, better to slow cook. All considered, I would buy because of the burner, size of grill capacity, and quality of construction for price.

Well built.
This grill came as advertised. It was purchased as a Christmas gift so i didn't try it out. It is a very nice looking grill and appears to be very well built. I'd like to address other reviews I read which had negative comments. The flavor plate does not stay in place when transporting. A metal wire wrapped around the burner tube will hold it in place. The grill grid is also not held down during transport, but it doesn't create as much of an inconvenience to reset it when you are ready to cook. The last issue are the legs. There are no detents to hold them in place when they are are open or closed, so setting it up to cook is a little tricky. But if you hold the grill by the legs until you set the grill down, there is no problem. Minor issues really for an otherwise very nice little grill.

Camp Chef, Can't Go Wrong
This little grill does get hot fast, so watch the meat!! I bought a Camp Chef because I have two large Camp Chef smokers and love the quality, I wasn't disappointed with this little gas grill. Easy to put together, but like other buyers, I did find that because the flavorizer plate and grill rack had shifted, I had to reach in the back and jiggle them around a little prior to opening the lid. To keep the flavorizer from moving again I drilled a small hole and screwed it in place. Because this grill gets so hot, it is easy to get a good sear on the meat, then turn it down to low and cook to the desired finish. Buy this little gas grill, you will be glad you did.

feet don't fold flat
I really like my other Camp Chef products but didn't get a chance to use this one because the feet don't fold flat, making it hard to pack and set out on a camp table without being fully set up. Really disappointing

Its a keeper
PRO: By far the best table top grill I have ever used, been camping for years in Mexico and this little monster gets hot fast, stays hot and the flame does not blow out like other grills, cooks like you are on a real BBQ.CON: Legs do not fold all the way up, wasted space in storage
