A Book Every Sewing Enthusiast Should Own
I waited not so patiently for my birthday to come around so I could finally purchase this book and when it showed up on my doorstep it did not disappoint! The first thing to grab my attention was how lovely it is! The book is a nice design and very eye-pleasing. I don't mind leaving it out and about in the house. The projects in this book are so inspiring! The ones pictured are beautiful but I love how Bari pushes you to find the fabric choices and styles that YOU like not just copy what she has done. I've just completed making my first Crazyquilted Lampshade Cover and I'm looking forward to making more! I think my next project might be the Jean Jacket Revision using a white shirt instead of the jacket. The icing on the cake with this book are the Keeping It Real Tips! Wow, the little light bulb kept going "ding!" in my head as I read through them. The title of this book really says it all. If you don't find yourself "Inspired to Sew" something, anything after you read through it then there must be something wrong with your "Inspiration-O-Matic".Very highly recommend it!

This launched me into art quilting- so glad;-)
I have had this book for years & constantly return to it for inspiration. It launched me into art quilting- a wonderful realm to inhabit. I havenโt made all of the projects & have developed my own style. The how toโs are very helpful even all these years later. Iโve given away most of my work & am now making items to keep.

Inspirational and what is more fresh new sewing ideas
Working in a quilt store I see many beautiful sewing books, but this book truly inspired me to make some of the projects in the book. One of the cutest designs is the teapot trivet. I ultimately made 5 for Mother's Day gifts for all the women in my family and every one loved their trivet. At the Salt Lake City Quilt Market I had the opportunity to meet J Bari and see her new fabric line from Lecian. With that new fabric line, the projects in this book will truly be inspirational and I can not wait to make more.

Disappointing
After seeing 5 star reviews from 10 people perhaps I was expecting a bit too much. What I found where at least 4 fabric collage patterns, personally I dislike fabric collages. 1 pattern well, just not impressed with a tea bag, a sachet bag is a sachet bag, not orginial. The pattern for felt flowers was not new or very orginial either. Out of 15 projects, there are 3 I might would make. All the reviews stating the book is beautiful, they are correct it is. To sum it up if I had had a chance to flip through the pages of this book before buying, well it would still be in the store.

Inspired describes is perfectly!
This book has been great not only for the 15 pretty projects that Bari presents but it also inspires me to think outside of the box on my own designs and handmade creations. I would totally recommend this to anyone who loves to craft or dabbles in handmade goodness.

Pretty
Nice little book with really pretty projects. Will make a good addition to my sewing library. My daughter borrows my sewing books and I can anticipate she is going to want this one!
