just brilliant
Was searching for a small cafetière and came across this. So pleased as it's incredibly easy to use and clean and is just right for a perfect cuppa.Fill the brew it mesh pot half way up with ground coffee, put the lid on and place the brew it in your cup/mug.Pour boiled water over and leave the brew it in the cup for a few minutes to brew.(I swirl mine round a bit).Once you have brewed for your preferred time, just lift the brew it out of your mug and place it in the holder that comes with it.I use exhale anti oxidant coffee and add coffee mate iso milk for a lovely creamy taste.Daughter wants to use it for her loss fruit teas so will be purchasing another. All in all it's a small piece of kit that makes my daily coffee so easy to make. Love it

Convenient and a tasty cup of coffee!
Fantastic product, I was weary that it might make weaker coffee than a french press, but was more convenient for me. I was pleasantly surprised at the strength of the coffee made and the ease of cleaning! I would recommend this for people who aren’t fans of instant coffee but don’t want the hassle of a french press.

Good, could be better, easily. Didn't last long.
(SEE EDIT AT THE END)Bought this because I wanted something that is easier to clean and use again than a cafetière.The coffee and tea is good, about what I would expect from a cafetière. Maybe a little less creamy/full but I haven't done an A/B test or anything, and my taste is also not so refined as to say whether it is good enough even for most people. It lets fewer coffee grounds through into the mug than my cafetière, which has seen about 10 years of use.The design could easily benefit from having a larger top, so that standard teaspoons can fit inside. Currently I have to carefully aim and not spill the tea/coffee, if I am measuring based on spoons. I will probably adapt by getting a different sort of container for the tea or coffee, which I can pour into this tiny infuser. From the pictures and videos I thought it would be a bit larger. There is no reason for it to taper towards the end, and allowing more space at the bottom would result in a better, more cafetière-like brew and make a big difference with tea (more than coffee). It could also benefit from being made of a different material, kitchen utensils are normally expected to last decades, I don't think this will. The bowl should be ceramic (though the plastic one can easily be swapped out for a ceramic one), the rest of it should be metal, including the mesh. The frame and handle should be stainless steel. It would be a shame if, after about 10 years of use, I need a replacement and then find it's no longer being manufactured...! I definitely recommend trying it.EDIT: This lasted about 6 months, using it with coffee and tea grounds regularly. I think I wouldn't be able to clean it enough for water to come through, I had to make pin holes in the mesh to keep using it. It's possible for liquid to go up the tube, which even if it lasted a couple of years, would have led to potential hygiene issues. Eventually settled for a glass and metal only cafetière from the original company that invented them.

Great alternative to coffee bags
For those who don't much like instant coffee, this is an excellent way to make a quick coffee without the hassle of a cafetière or espresso machine. I was using coffee bags previously, but the choice of bags is limited and the bags themselves are not always compostable. This infuser lets me use any ground coffee and there's no issues with bags not decomposing. It's cheap, easy to use, easy to clean, and makes a good strong cup of coffee - great item.

Cheap and effective
These are great for the money and really easy to use. Coffee tasted as it should so really please with the purchase. Always make sure you clean it fairly quickly after use or the stick will go mouldy.

Simple one cup coffee brewing
This is very simple to use but don't use a very fine grind or it may not brew correctly. The idea is good, cleaning the main basket is simple but the handle is hollow and grinds can get stuck in there. Maybe a modified handle would have earned it 5 stars. Give it a try, for the money it's good value.
