Trials: Academy of Unpredictable Magic, Book 2

Facebook had a lot of action In character development. It was wonderful to see some of the characters we met in the 1st book become a little more fleshed out and real. I was definitely able to connect more emotionally with this book than the 1st 1. Spicy scenes were still lovely. But the overall plot helped me balance it all out. I have already started downloading but 3rd book And we'll devour it shortly. Keep up the great work Sadie Moss!

Theres something so intimate about the way Elliot identifies each guy by their smell - and how she takes comfort and joy in breathing in their scents. As I read it, I visualize the scents that she refers to enveloping her and giving her comfort and peace when things get hard. Considering how incredibly sexy the start of this book is, maybe "hard" is not the correct word to use in that reference... uhm... maybe difficult is better? 😉Trials brought out a different kind of emotional response in me because of the fact that there was more depth of  emotion required from the characters. I am loving how these books are weaving together and I'm blown away by the continued richness of the tapestry of the story, this world, and its characters.This installment required a new dimension to the relationship between Elliot and her guys. And it developed beautifully in a way that was completely authentic! The incredible caring and consideration along with the pure unadulterated goodness that they displayed in their support of her just made me so very misty eyed. They are all, at the core of them, such good guys.Even though there are still secrets that haven't been shared, I hopes and believe that there will be enough connection to overcome the secrets that will eventually come into the light. Truthfully I think that the development of the relationships that takes place in this book alone will go a long way to ensuring that.That being said though, I don't expect an easy or reasonably uneventful ride at all!The way that Sadie Moss creates her characters and breathes such incredible life into them, is Genius!This is already my all time series ever and I'm stuck in that complicated limbo where on the one hand I am ridiculously eager for the rest of the story (and also a little scared, because let's face it, the  what's-going-to-happen-next possibilities are endless!) And... on the other hand, I don't want to get anywhere near to it being over.Can't I just know the stuff AND keep following their adventures in print for forever?It's perfect and I'm so very grateful that Ms. Moss shares her imagination and gift for storytelling with us!

A great next book in the series.

Loved the premise for this sequel. The build up was fantastic and the story incredible. Still looking for character development, but it was definitely better this book 🖤

Definitely worth the read. Excellent writing with proper grammar (I know not normally a compliment but I read enough books out there that clearly weren’t proofed before “publishing” I have to mention it). Seriously though you gotta read this book.

I read Sparks for free and had to purchase Trails to see what happens next. The characters and the storyline both have me hooked. The sexual content is not for the faint at heart so be prepared for some pretty steamy scenes.

I really enjoyed the story. The chemistry between the characters is good and plot is fast paced.

Growing pains and competition are the theme for this book. It was really fun seeing how the relationships are growing and maturing through out this one. Having four hot men wanting you and needing you isn’t the norm. She is determined to make it possible with all of them supporting and protecting her. What a battle it is!

If you liked the first book, then you'll LOVE the second in this series. I couldn't put it down. So much so, that I stayed up until six on the morning reading it just after finishing Spark. This book has everything; danger, excitement, feels, sexy times and all the good stuff that makes a great book. I'm very interested to find out what will happen with Elliott and her men in the next book. This book has left me needing answers and so much more of the guys and the storyline! I'm invested now!! Looking forward to what this series will bring.

A brilliant and exciting storyline filled with mystery passion and interesting plot definitely only suitable for over 18s

This book had a lot more sex than the previous book, possibly too much…However I still enjoyed this book, story and the characters. The Trials had some similarities to a certain Harry Potter book, but it was interestingly woven into the book. I enjoyed the development of Elliot and her relationship with her four men and how they accepted and welcomed the five way relationship. The book did end with a bit of a cliffhanger but I like how the author finished with a chapter from Roman’s perspective. Looking forward to the third book in this series and reading about Elliot, Asher, Cam, Dmitri and Roman.

This was the perfect sequel to the first. It had a bit of everything. Even phrases from Harry Potter. Actually it’s similar to Harry Potters 4th book but much much more dangerous. It was freaken awesome! This is my second time re reading this one and I enjoyed every minute of it!
