Works really well !! Nice crimps - easy to use.
This crimper is not very cheap, but it is well made and works extremely well. It is easy to use.It is important to make sure your lug is filled by the cable's wire. If the lug is bigger than the wire (actual fit, not the labels on lug or wire), you will have the excess lug material squeezed out of the dies to form "wings." If the lug ID closely matches the wire OD, your crimp will be perfect: not a hint of "wings."I fear that wire labels have become optimistic (inflated): actual metal in the cable is less than what the cable's label says. This can lead to ugly crimps - if the person crimping relies on the labels and doesn't check the actual fit between lug and wire. I found some cable labelled 4AWG that fit very nicely into a lug labelled 6AWG - at this combination made a wonderful crimp using the 6AWG/16DIM dies. Had I used a 4AWG lug and 4AWG/25DIM dies on this "4AWG" cable, I would have produced a loose crimp with pronounced wings. The dies are labelled in the DIM system, but a conversion to AWG is included. I used a paint pen to label the dies with AWG sizes. This conversion table is accurate.

A Cheap Wire Crimper That Does a Decent Job
Overall this crimper works well and created consistent crimps for 4 of my 00 gauge battery terminal connectors and 4 smaller connectors. All the crimps seem strong and look decent. It was able to exert enough force for every crimp and I had no major issues.Pros:-Cheap-Works well, especially if you aren't planning on doing any major crimping jobs consistently-Cons:-Overall build quality is mediocre at best-Case fitment isn't great-Dies fitment can be a little difficult especially if you are trying to put the dies in while the slot isn't verticalOverall this is a good crimping tool if you are looking to crimp larger connectors and don't plan on doing them too often; the price is right.

Works well, impressed by results
Dies not marked awg but no big deal, nice crimps.rotate to suit if you get flats..heat shrink and it's all pro looking done by yourself. Happy I was able to make custom 3/0 cable lengths as it would have been a nightmare to buy exact length of not impossible to run rear battery and winch in my Ford SD truck

Cheap and easy to use!
This tool is great! It was extremely easy to crimp lugs onto 0000 cable with this tool on hand. I was going to get a cheap crimper that you hit with a hammer, but I was so glad I got this instead. This crimper allowed me to make battery cables in the bay of my RV where I was going to eventually place them, so I could make sure the lengths were perfect. It also allowed me make the holes I made in my RV’s bay smaller because I didn’t need to fit the lug through the hole and grommet I used. I would not have been able to be so exact if I were to make my cables any other way.

Great for 1/0 audio wire crimping
First off, it came in a nice blow molded case but upon opening it some of the dies were scattered around from shipping, no big deal, everything was there. I bought it to crimp my 1/0 Audio wires for my cars Big 3 upgrade. IT WORKS. Plain and simple. No oil leakage, read the simple instructions, followed the rules on not to keep squeezing after the dies nearly meet each other, made a solid connection that I couldn't pull or wiggle any strands of wire out.IT WORKS for car audio crimping. I'm happy with it.
