Barcode Mod for DR-2580C/4010C 5010C/ 6080/7580/ 9080C/DR-X10C

This is great software if you have one of the supported Canon DR Scanners. This software reads bar codes on the scanned documents and then automatically saves the document with the file name of the bar code that was scanned.For instance we bar code our invoices with the bar code being the invoice number. When we go to scan the invoice with all its related order and paper work the scanner scans and saves the invoice with the invoice number as the file name then proceeds to go on to the next invoice. The software will read each barcode as the start of a new document to scan.This allows us to place a stack of bar coded documents in the scanner and it scans and stores each document with its related paperwork with the appropriate file name. We have been able to speed up our document scanning quite a bit.While we use only 1 barcode the software says it supports up to 4 barcodes that will be used to create the file name. The software will also append to the existing file name if you scan a document with the same barcode again.This software works with the Canon Capture Perfect Scanner software and you have to have version 3.09 or higher for it to work. If you have the earlier version like we did you can go to Canon's website and download the upgrade to required version.We are suing the software on a Canon DR 6030, a DR 4010, and a DR G1100 with great results.
