Excellent built quality. I have another same size block plane of RSI but was looking for one with the front knob.This Homdum block plane has the knob which is more ergonomic.

Not effective
The blade is not sharpened, aligned or its edge is in straight line. Chances are it can damage you carpentry than doing any good.

Perfect mini plainer
This is a perfect little block plane for diy tasks and mending the doors and wooden windows. We will have to sharpen the blade from time to time. All good so far.
