Worst filament that I've ever used for several reasons
1. Bad/cheap spool design - the sides of the spools are the shortest of any I've ever used. During one of my first prints, the filament slid over the side of the spool and caused a jam ruining the print and a mess to sort out with the printer.2. Poorly wound - during another print (about 1/3 of the way thru the spool), the filament jammed from being poorly wound and caught under itself. This was not a result of the previous jam (much earlier in the spool). I never lost the end and was careful the filament never slipped under itself while handling.3. Arrived "wet" - I started using this immediately after it arrived. I had a project in mind for this orange color, but I noticed it was extra stingy and I heard the characteristic wet popping sound from the extruder. It's PLA, so it shouldn't absorb much moisture, and it hadn't been sitting around for months or even weeks. The only positive that I can say is that the color is what I wanted, but this PLA has been so problematic for so many prints that I wish that I went with another brand. It's not a great value if you have to spend so much time (and wasted filament) to dry it out / make it work.

FIRST THOUGHTS + UPDATE
Having just tried it on some test prints, I am impressed. It adheres to the glass bed extremely well. No curling, no clogs. I checked the diameter with a digital caliber and it was exactly 1.75mm. I have yet to have a tangle also. I have found that centering the spool with stops, really helps hold down the tangle problem. And this stuff is tough. After removing the raft, I could not tear the material. The color is really vivid. The prints came out great, with very little sanding or filing.I used 220c hotend temp and 60c bed temperature.UPDATE One thing you have to realize, if you print using a RAFT, instead of a brim, removing the raft material is somewhat harder with the PLA MAX filament.I still rate it #1JIM

Very inconsistent printing, and wasted time
I have quite a story. I purchased the orange filament to print a custom organizer for my terraforming mars board game.I opened the package, and printed one piece perfectly, one of the best prints ever. Then the trouble happened. Every print began failing. After numerous failures, I decided to replace my nozzle, silicone boot, and bed springs. I then tried many times again and still could not get a good print. I used half the spool and finally nothing would adhere to the plate. To confirm that it was the material, I had an unused 6 month old base filament that I purchased when I got my printer. And just switched the spool and tried a print and it went smoothly (one of the best prints ever). I can only summarize since I was using the same exact setup that the orange filament has some quality issues. I did order another and it will be here today, and I will try to print with it to see if there are any differences. Not very happy with this filament right now, with so much wasted time in the past couple of weeks.

Finally, a perfect orange!
Orange is one of the most used colors for my custom products. My previous purchase from a company called FASTTOBUY -- it was a disaster. When it came to a functional print, the product would fall apart like straw in my hand. Horrible, and I hope they enjoy their one star rating. I also in the past purchased the orange from Tianse, which turned out to be a yellowish unripe cantaloupe color. Awful. Then there was AIO who had excellent orange, but their rolls were small for the price, and they're always out of orange so I gave up on them.I received my CC3D orange yesterday. It was a few bucks more than I'm use to paying, but man oh man, it's perfect. It's has a great Prusa/Hot Wheels Track color which I needed. The prints have been strong, solid and zero failures so far. 220 nozzle 60 bed = all good. This will be my choice for orange and other colors in the future.

Unable to get a single sucessful print in nearly a dozen attempts
I like the color of the filament but so far every single print I have tried has failed with this filament. I bought several different brands and different colors and the only one I have not been able to successfully print with is this brand and color. I tried several early on when I first received my printer and again after I had printed several dozen successful projects and after I had made several upgrades to my Ender 3 pro printer. I re-leveled the bed several times and tried different print files with no luck. The prints would fail early as it was printing a brim and would not adhere to the bed and would begin to string. After half a dozen failures, I switched out the filament with a different one and was able to immediately print two of the files that failed. Since this is a large roll of filament and it is too late to return it I will try adjusting the temperature settings in my slicer and try again in the future to get this filament to work. I live in a very dry desert state so I don't believe moisture is a problem.

Support Amazing; Believes in Product
Really love the color.Unfortunately, I had an issue with the filament where the top surface was bubbling. I thought it was an issue with moisture in the filament. The support team for CC3D was willing to help me figure out why it wasn't printing right. We tried a lot of options, and ended up refunding the cost of the filament, because they are still waiting to have another batch ready. The important thing is that the company believes in the product. They were willing to send me a replacement to ensure I got the best quality product they could offer. That's great service. Will buy again when available. Thanks, CC3D.

Great color. Decent Price. "Meh" Adhesion
The product arrived and took a bit of getting used too, but the color is perfect and it does a good job hiding the layer lines. This is one of those filaments that needs a slower print. You probably will have poor results from printing at .2 or bigger, maybe its just me but thats been my experience. I normally dont have to babystep my printer after leveling, but this one seems to need some love on the initial few layers just to make sure. After that the layers adhere pretty well, but it has been a slight issue with supports. The faces that have supports tend to get a little ugly and need extra care. Again, the color is awesome and the texture is good - but this filament needs some love.
