Strong and durable replacements.
I ordered replacements for my Columbia boots. The flat strings are lighter and a bit less bulky than the round originals. This brand is exactly as they promised as far as quality and the ability for the strings to lock in place without slipping. I would order again with no hesitation.

Best Laces I've Ever Owned
I play a lot of tennis and the laces on my New Balance tennis shoes had to be continually re-tightened and re-tied throughout a typical match. When they finally wore out, I ordered these Ironlace replacements. I have to say - I am very impressed. They fit perfectly, stay tied for as long as I have the shoes on my feet, and look like they will never wear out. I am very happy with my purchase, and will order again if I any other shoes I own ever need to have the laces replaced. These are the best laces I have ever owned. Highly recommend to anyone who needs to replace their hiking or athletic shoe laces. They are expensive, but IMO they are well worth the added cost.

Not good for Skateboarding.
Lasted for 8-10 hours worth of Skating, wouldn't recommend if that's what you're using these for.

ends of laces aren't taped securely
Would have given it 5 stars, but the end of one of the laces came off when threading it into the eye hole - had to MacGyver it with some tape and a lighter to get a pointy end to thread through the eye holes.

7 years to fail
I bought these in 2015, they have seen probably a dozen boots since then. I work on heavy equipment in harsh conditions and do alot of welding, fabrication and other hot work. They've held their own over the years but have finally become unusable. Just ordered another pair with confidence! Money well spent!

Great performance (so far), but a little pricey
I ordered a set of the 45-inch laces for the shoes I wear when skateboarding in big skatepark bowls or halfpipe ramps. When I have to bail out of a trick, I drop to my knees and slide on the hard plastic caps of my knee pads with my feet tucked under me - which tears the you-know-what out of regular laces. So far, I'm very satisfied with these laces. After three skatepark sessions and at least 20 to 30 knee slides, these laces show barely any sign of wear. They're stiffer than average laces, but they stay tied every bit as well, if not better. And because they're already kind of two-tone, they don't look that bad once they get dragged across the concrete. My only hesitation about giving them five stars is the price. If a pair of regular laces costs between 2 and 3 bucks, these will have to last at least six times as long to justify the higher price. If they do, I'll come back and give 'em that last star.

So durable!
My young children skateboard and have ripped through a few pairs of shoelaces in one to two days. I thought these out and they totally delivered their promise… they have outlasted the shoes which are now worn out ha ha

Time will tell of these are truly unbreakable
Given these a 5 so far. I bought some new walking boots late last year and was going through a pair of laces a month before they frayed and broke. It's only been a week so time will tell if these last, but so far so good.Update : still going strong and absolutely no signs of fraying or any wear whatsoever.

I was really worried spend so much on a set ...
I was really worried spend so much on a set of laces. It’s just a lace right? These are absolutely bulletproof, and will probably out live the boots, and the ones I replace them with
