TOOPAI Car Stereo Radio Optical Fiber Decoder Most Box for Mercedes Benz E CLS SLK SL S CL Series (W219 W211 W171) (≤ 2008)

I bought a ztloopai Android head unit (which I'm actually happy with) to fit to an 04 w211 mercedes e320 CDI. Received item with missing fiber optic connector which the vendor did send to me from China a couple of weeks later (after some negotiation).I found there was very little info to help with install so am leaving this review not to gripe about the seller, but to hopefully help anybody else in the same situation. In the end I couldn't get on with this decoder and bought a simpler xtrons most decoder, which doesn't have the extraneous can bus leads from the box; simply constant + and ground. Went straight in and have full steering wheel control patching from the iso harness to the car....no need for the green wires on this box. My recommendation, the head units are good, with all the features you'd want, but buy an xtrons most decoder - it's a much simpler install that way and works with ztloopai head units just fine.
