went onto the garden site to look for gas for my weedburner, found the burner and ordered the gas cannisters next to it, only to find that they are not compatable with UK gas fittings, a horseshoe shaped plate around the top and a long feed tube but no way of attaching it to my nearly new weedburner, so a total waste of money as the post office wont handle packs of gas containers for obvious reasons, so i will have to go to the shops, at least i will get what i want there..

Flame control seems to get better as it heats up.Ignited first time.Not sure how secure the bayonet fitting it. No click or lock. Could work loose in use.Not very good in a breeze. Flame splutters.Good for the price though. Bought for starting BBQ.

I purchased a case of butane cans alongside this and you just push the burner onto them, dead simple.I've already used this for doing some pipe work, starting a bbq, and melting the sugar top on my creme brulee!Very versatile, am pleased with my purchase.

after visiting various local suppliers, still not found canister to fit i believe i can buy an adapter online not what i had in mind

Update: the control knob has just broken off. I haven’t used this that much, perhaps 4 times. Not very sturdy, I now have a blow torch that I cannot turn off. Not recommended.

The item lasted for few weeks. The seller refused return. Do not buy this item.

Had 6 butane cans doing nothing so bought this blow torch and has worked well on everything I’ve done.Really handy to have around.

The ignition system did not work on my exemplar at all - the burner is also very flimsy, and given that one has to press hard to fit it on the cylinder, very prone to damage. Pay more elsewhere!
