Much better for ripping than the standard chain.
Rips much better than the chain that came standard on my Stihl MS391 with 25" bar. I can cut almost twice as many slabs before refueling.

Great Ripping Chain
Read the reviews before purchase. I have a Husqvarna Rancher 460 24”. Fit perfect. Used the chain on a walnut tree we had cut down and first 3 slabs were perfect. After sharpening and cleaning with a steel brush it started to cut great again. Would buy again.

Great ripping chain
I starting sawing on a ten foot walnut log with an 8ten brand chain and it literally took a full Saturday and burning up my chainsaw and bar. Also had to go through several tanks of fuel.Decided to go with OREGON 72RD084G and it was a game changer. What an amazing difference. I ran the chain on my 460 rancher and little over an hour I had two 19 inch slabs cut. I do scrape and clean the blade after a couple cuts and the chain keeps ripping like butter.

Research before you order
So I did a Google search for " ripping chain for a 25" bar" and it brought me here. The chain arrived earlier than expected and is of good quality. It is just like 5" shorter than I need. I havent counted the links, but I hope they'll figure out how to solve the issue. So all in all I think getting it shipped so fast was superb. Now to do my job better and get the right size chain.

exactly what is needed for with-the-grain cuts
I have 2 saws so I can keep cross cut chains on one saw while keeping the ripping chain on the other saw. It really makes a difference in the time spent on long cuts. I don't rip that often but it certainly helps to use the right tool for the job.

Works but overpriced, not needed
A ripping chain is no different than a regular chain except for the angle of the cutter. You can buy a cheaper regular chain (typically 25-30 degree cutter grind) and re-grind it to 10 degrees, and you have a ripping chain.

Description technique et photo
Pour refendre du tileuil sur une scie à chaine Stihl 044, ça va très bien, à l'aide d'un moulin à scie à chaine.

Works like a charm!
This chain cross cuts on an Alaskan mill very nicely with minimal planing of the surfaces required afterwards. I purchased a second as a spare, but have yet to sharpen the original unit after 5 spruce logs. I am impressed.

Don’t waste your money
We bought it and it was cutting slowly. It used 2-3 tanks of gas to cut up a 2 ft long log. I don’t know if it became dulled or why but it just wouldn’t cut after using it twice.
