I’m a middle-aged white woman going through major hair loss due to birth control pills. My hair texture completely changed too and became very fine and dry and fluffy. It is also constantly tangled. AI analyzed which products have not been working for me, analyzed the ingredients, and said I need something and recommended this. It works!!! This is the only product I’ve found to work on helping my hair be smooth. Tangled hair is caused by a raised cuticle that doesn’t lie down. I thought this was because I didn’t have enough moisture. I tried a million hair masks, oils, serums. I tried them in different order and with different temperature water. I tried brushing during conditioning time and after. I tried air drying and blow drying. It turns out I wasn’t focused on the right problem. This leave in uses a cationic conditioner that smooths down the lifted cuticle (so it doesn’t catch on other lifted cuticles) by interacting with the slight negative charge in wet hair. And it provides slip between strands. It also makes waves clump so it reduces separation while drying— I didn’t think this would make things better but it does! I was absolutely shocked the first time I brushed out my air dried hair after using this product. My hair was in wavy curls and I thought for sure the brush would get stuck but it didn’t. I’m incredibly relieved to find a solution to a longstanding problem I’ve had. Also, the oils in this are light and not occlusive. So they don’t weigh down and collapse my hair.

I had sisterlocs for about 4 years. The installation was horrible. Three locticians in my head at once. Wrong, but didn't know that it was😔. From there, after two or three more locticians in my hair I learned how to do my own retightening. I lost grid, so I cut my locs off and decided to start over. In the meantime, I have very very coily hair. I'm 68 with short bleached hair with toner. I like it, but now I love it because your product is the first and only hair product that does exactly what it says. Miracle cream it is. I'm absolutely blown away by the instant results. I also purchased the mousse and gel, FANTASTIC products 💜💜💜💜💜 P.S. This product is so amazing 👏🏿 that I might not get sisterlocs or microlocs again. The size and cost of the containers are extremely appropriate for the quality of the product. Great product, but hate the smell. Looks like they released ones with other scents, so will be trying those out. Great stuff…

This works well for my daughter’s frizzy curly hair. Her hair is super dry but this works nice layered with hair gel, gives her curls nice definition and I love that this doesn’t react weird with her hair gel. We’ve tried so many different leave in conditioners and this one is by far our favorite. The smell is mild but pleasant, I love this size it lasts a while and it’s a decent value.

(Using my husband’s account to write this review) The back of my head would always get super tangled after 2-3 days of washing and I had been looking for a new leave in to help with this. I got this one since I’ve heard lots of good things. A few days after my first wash with this product and the back of my head is finally not tangled! Personally, I found that I had to use a bit more product for each section as I was styling, but my hair doesn’t feel heavy, there’s no product build up and most importantly for me no tangles. I was worried because this product is a bit pricey but I’ve heard a lot of good things too. So if you’re thinking about getting it, just do it!! The hype is real. For reference, I have undyed 3a-3c hair (3c in the back) that is just below my collarbones. I was previously using Miss Jessie’s Pillow Soft Curls leave in, but I think that one may have had too much protein. The Pattern leave in didn’t seem to have much protein if any at all and I think that’s what helped my hair a lot. I have 3c hair but it seems to be very picky. This is one of the leave-ins that my hair loves and I love the smell. It doesn't weigh my hair down and it feels so soft throught the day. My hair feels healthy and not as dry as it usually does. The cost for the size is good and I've already purchased it a few times. As long as they don't change the formula I will continue to purchase it.
