Sealy 3" SealyChill Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper, Queen, White

Bought this queen-size topper for our extra-firm latex mattress. My wife had been complaining that our mattress was too firm and she was having pain from sleeping on it. She loves it (and so do I).I paid a little extra for the Sealy because it is made in the USA.Unfortunately, the cover it comes with is made in China.Fits the bed well and may actually be a 1/2" oversized - but the cover holds everything in place correctly.Would buy again.

I decided to try a mattress topper when a saw a magazine review on TV. I have arthritis in my back & suffer pain most of the day when I wake. I was unsure whether this would help as my mattress was broken down because of age & letting my obese son use my bed after he came home from the hospital.I doubted right up til this morning. I even flipped my mattress side to side 1st.I woke without any pain at all.The only problem I had is it doesn't make coffee & I didn't want to get up.One note: I got a 3" topper & am glad I didn't go any less, but with arthritis it's a little tricky getting up the extra height so you need to be cautious & use log roll method if you can.

It feels like I am sleeping on a cloud. It is a little hard to roll over because you sinkInto it. But it has helped considerably with my back and hip pain.

Completely exceeded my expectations. Fits the bed nicely, stays in place, and adds a super comfy layer to my aging box spring and mattress. The only drawback- It’s not as cool as suggested. I find this just as hot as any other memory foam mattress I’ve slept on.

I sleep on a Tempurpedic Cloud, the softest in the line. I've had my bed just about 3 years and over the last year, it seemed like I just needed more softness than it was offering. I tried a lesser quality pad and it worked for awhile until it didn't. Then I changed jobs and became much more physically active (FedEx Express Courier) and was developing shoulder, hip and back pain. I ordered this in hopes it would add that extra softness I needed. I can't imagine my bed without it. It also helps me sleep cooler as I entered middle age and menopause with a vengeance and sweat like mad all night, every night.Just buy it now. You won't regret it!

I've tried many toppers and have been disappointed. This 3" Sealy Chill Gel didn't disappoint. At first taking it out of the box I thought no way this is going to be comfortable and expand to a king size but it was and did. Only one night of sleep on it but I can honestly say I woke up feeling refreshed. I also sleep hot and have an issue with matress protectors that claim to be cooling. Zero issues sweating with this topper and matress pad that came with it. Only negative for me was the 3 inches was a little much and I'm going to try the 2 inches to see if it fits me better. Overall, I would highly recommend this Sealy Gel topper. Well worth the price and the smell most people are concerned about only lingers for about a day.*Update - The 2" was no where near as comfortable for me and for some reason I slept hot on it. This 3" one is the way to go.

We had an older (12-ish years) Latex foam mattress that was quite firm. It was time for a new mattress as I developed chronic lower back pain while sleeping - enough to keep me awake most nights. After weeks of online searching and reading what must have ended up being thousands of reviews, we decided to give a memory foam topper a try and wanted something with cooling properties and from a trusted brand name. My wife loved it the moment she tried it out and her sleep improved immediately but it did take a couple weeks for me to really appreciate the new topper. Glad I gave it a long term shot, lower back pain waking me up at night has disappeared. My wife is a back sleeper, I'm a stomach sleeper, so finding a mattress or topper that suits two very different sleeping positions is challenging to say the least.In terms of cooling properties we live in Houston and, although have yet to use this during summer, I can comment that so far this sleeps a bit cooler than our latex foam mattress.Very pleased with the purchase and, obviously given the improved sleep comfort for both of us, I'd highly recommend giving this a try to rejuvenate an older mattress.

We got one of these because our Bear Hybrid mattress is too firm for my liking and I've been waking up sore sleeping on it. This topper has made it a new bed, and I no longer wake up in pain.Why only 3 stars then? Well this thing stinks.. like really bad. When first opened it smells like a cross between a fish market and a nail salon. The harsh chemical smell actually made my nose burn when I inhaled it. We were unable to sleep on it for 2 days after opening it because of the smell. The smell has also lasted for 2 weeks now and still going, even with proper airing out. It has become much more faint, but it's still noticeable. If you are sensitive to chemical smells, I'd give this one a pass.
