Philips Sonicare for Kids 3+ Bluetooth Connected Rechargeable Electric Power Toothbrush, Interactive for Better Brushing, Turquoise, HX6321/02

Our 6 yo son absolutely loves this toothbrush and is now really excited to brush his teeth. First of all, after unpacking, there are different kind of sticker 'skins' for the brush itself, so kids can choose which color they prefer. They can easily be taken off and exchanged to other 'skins'. The toothbrush has two settings - a softer and stronger one. This toothbrush is best used with the app. It has integrated bluetooth and connects to the app. During brushing, it shows in real time where the kid has to brush. Little bad guys are hiding behind each tooth and they have to be brushed off. There is also a timer. Additionally, there are short educational explainer videos about tooth health. After each brushing, the little fluffy guy (main character who you have to help brush teeth), receives a gift which could be sprays to change his fur color, healthy foods to feed him with, all kinds of accessories and even different backgrounds. There is also an integrated tracking tool that tells the kid to brush in the morning and evening - there are additional certificates when reaching stages. The little fluffy guy will get angry if the kids does not finish brushing and he will not receive a present. The battery life of the brush is fine. We always have it in its charger. The charger is relatively flat compared to adult toothbrushes. It is definitely portable and the battery survives for a few days without charging. Overall, my kid brushes far better and more consistently than in the past with a normal toothbrush. I finally can let him brush on his own and don't have to control whether he has brushed all parts of his teeth. I am really happy with this toothbrush - it's great value for money.

I bought 2 of these out of desperation. I got so tired of nagging the kids every morning and every night to brush. I was also tired of inspecting their brushing and having to ask them to try again and/or having to take it over. Not only was this frustrating for me after what felt like the millionth time of showing them how to brush well, but it was also frustrating for them. They were trying hard and finding out that often it wasn't good enough. My son ended up with a few cavities and I decided we needed extra help. My husband was about 50/50 on these when I first showed him. He expressed feeling a bit reluctant to add yet another source of electronics into their lives, especially for learning/reinforcing a task which we learned just fine without the need for technology. But ultimately he agreed this product sounded promising so we made the (worthy) investment. Let me tell you, this has been a slam dunk for us. The kids look forward to brushing their teeth and their smiles are way cleaner and brighter. It has now been about 17 days and they've brushed twice a day, every day and they are still enthusiastic about it. We love it so much. The app is very engaging and motivating for my 7 and 9-year-old. The 'Sparkly' creature is adorable. The app is educational. The toothbrushes are high quality and work very well. I was concerned my 9-year-old would get sick from the vibration of the bristles (he has some sensory difficulties) but it was fine and he just laughed (and drooled like crazy) the first couple times. I was a little worried about how easily we'd be able to manage 2 profiles in the app but it's super easy. The bluetooth connection is instant when they turn on the brush. If they need to stop at anytime during the brushing, it automatically pauses when they turn it off then resumes when they turn it back on. They thought of everything. I am very happy and can't recommend this product strongly enough.

My son used to always quickly brush his teeth using a handheld toothbrush, and would never brush properly. But after using the electric toothbrush, he has enjoyed brushing his teeth everyday. I like that there is a timer so my son knows when the time is up, and is a motivation for him to continue to brush until the time stops. The toothbrush is very easy to hold. It comes with stickers, but after a while, the stickers are not that sticky anymore and will peel off at the corner. But my son still loves brushing his teeth with the toothbrush. What's great is that the pack of brush heads that I bought for my own Philips Sonicare can be used for his toothbrush as well. The battery life is great, we didn't need to charge it yet.

Wow, just got this for my 4 year old daughter and I'm so impressed! Everything from the cute packaging and the huge selection of stickers, my daughter loves it. It came with a full sized head, so luckily I read a review that said there was a smaller sized brush called "compact" size, which I ordered at the same time. It fit perfectly and the smaller size was the right fit for my child's mouth. The larger size is probably good for older kids so I'll save it for use later on. After we downloaded the app, my daughter just wanted to brush her teeth again and again! She was having waaay too much fun. If I let her, my daughter probably would have brushed her teeth ten times. There are 2 settings, a low and a high. I guess I will start my daughter on the low and eventually, work her way up to high. Also, I didn't realize this when I ordered it, but the toothbrush has BLUETOOTH! Freakin Bluetooth in a toothbrush. Who thought of that? It connects to the iPad app through Bluetooth and it syncs the timing of the toothbrush to what the app is directing the child to follow along, like switch from top to bottom. Its really very well developed and freakin cool! I hope this toothbrush lasts a few years because this costs way more than the $5 electric toothbrush that she has been using for the past year. The only reason we had to replace the old toothbrush was because we can't replace the brush head. This one seems amazing so far. As with all things with a battery, I'm concerned about the battery life and holding a charge. Only time will tell. I will update the review after using for some time. UPDATE *** 8/4/2020 So we have been using this toothbrush daily for 3 years and the brush still functions like its brand new. I make sure that I dry off the entire toothbrush with a towel and remove the brush head to air dry after each use. I know how mold grows very easily in wet damp environments. The time between charges has not diminished over time. It still lasts several months between charges. We still love this toothbrush. Just wish the replacement brush heads are less expensive...we are forced to buy substitute brands to save on costs.

We bought a second one for our younger child after using the first for about three years with our older child. The kids like the interactive game and rewards, and it does help encourage better brushing. Our older child used the kids’ version for several years before moving to an adult toothbrush, so when our younger one turned three, we bought another. The main disappointment is durability. On the older brush, the rubber around the area where the brush head connects eventually deteriorated. I expected it to last longer, especially since it was only used by one child. In my experience, the Oral-B spinning brushes seem more durable. This is a good product with a useful app, but I took off one star because of the limited lifespan.

Bought both my grandchildren each one…They absolutely love these toothbrushes. Easy to use makes brushing a great experience not a chore…At 8 and 10 they are old enough to spend the time to brush good!!! The adults have same adult size ..Been usuing Philips brushes for years.. They make a quality product at a great price..and they really last a long time…Just need to replace brush heads every so many months👍👍👍

This system is absolutely fantastic. I say the word “system” because that’s exactly what this. I have 3 Princesses who have all been using this Sonic system for at least 2 years now. This system teaches your child how to love brushing so they never forget or have to be asked. It shows them how to brush correctly, and have fun doing so. They even get to pick their own colored toothpaste to brush along with the apps little character, Sparkly. Here’s what it offers: •Toothbrush: it’s a sonic & works fantastic. It’s a rechargeable lithium ion battery which does last for so long. Little pearl here: only charge it when it needs to be charged or you could have issue, like some people in here. Any lithium ion battery will act this way, so unplug it while it sits on its stand. Not quantum physics here. The head maybe slightly oversized, but that quickly becomes a non-issue. It also adapts to many Sonic heads if you’d prefer a smaller brushing head. I started all 3 girls with this as soon as their first tooth came in. •Stickers: you have a large selection to customize and re-customize over and over. It has larger stickers and many smaller options. What kid doesn’t love stickers. **App: get ready because this is where they separate themselves from the rest by a million miles. There’s nothing even close to this out there. Even Oral-B, who I’m a huge fan of, has nothing! •THE APP- You start out with entering in your name & age & picture(you can use anything on your phone or take a picture). They love this feature and change it frequently. •Then you get to hatch your baby Sparkly. Again, very cool idea. •Parents have a dashboard that they can choose to participate or not. I love it, as a Daddy. •They have their own dashboard of three options: My Calendar, My Awards, and Sparkly Achievements. •My Calendar- which shows you if they brushed & for how long. •My Awards- which gives achievement awards to your child based on how well they do, like 10 days in a row of day/night brushing. You leave them as is or custom name each, like “Mommy’s Award-10 days in a row” or whatever you want. Talk about brilliant. It’s literally a contest to see who can out-brush the other in my house. Since my girls are all under 5yrs old, I get to help them develop this wonderful habit. Again, I love participating as their Daddy. I use my phone and iPad to let them earn these awards; •AND lastly Sparkly Awards- not only is the little guy cute, but she/he gives an award after every brush(SO HUGE). She/he will learns tricks, earns food to feed him prior to brushing(carrots, pizza, bananas, water, milk, spaghetti and so much more), earns apparel to dress your Sparkly up(various sunglasses, hats,ears, and more), earns different background places(the ocean, bathroom, skating park, and more), and spray paint to color your Sparkly(Green, purple, pink, blue, and more). Again, they earn one of the above every time they brush their teeth! It provides an incentive to take care of their teeth. •The brushing part is 2 minutes, which is what’s recommended and teaches them how to brush all teeth while they watch & follow along with Sparkly brushing her/his teeth. I’d love them to update this app with more awards/features since my girls have earned just about everything. However, I’m more than satisfied because they could care less. It still keeps their attention while they laugh and joke around. It’s a great routine that shows them how to enjoy good hygiene. **Plus...you’ll be laughing and giggling right along with them** How great is that! We never have to ask them to brush. They always come running with their brushes begging to go first. We LOVE it and we’d recommend it to any/all parents.

My son is 4. Last dentist appt he was scared when the dentist took out anything that vibrated. She suggested getting a battery powered toothbrush. We started with that and he did great. But honestly everyone that I bought and paid $5-$7 was terrible. They just didn’t seem like they had any power at all. And the first one u paid $7 for didn’t even last a month. I felt like we were ready to spend our money on a rechargeable. At first I was leary about using the app because I thought it would be distracting but it wasn’t at all for my child. It really makes brushing way more fun and an experience! The app has fun ways to entertain kids while making brushing the focus! Also a parent dashboard to, to track your child’s progress and great for older kids if parents aren’t right there for the brushing. The toothbrush actually hooks up to app via Bluetooth! So timers and app will start, stop and pause when you power the toothbrush on and off! I am so happy I bought this toothbrush! Oral health is soooo important and I want to teach my child that and this is a great tool in helping with that! Definitely with the money. And it was cheaper than others that offer less!

After trying this toothbrush with one of my children, I ended up buying a second one because they both loved it. The design is fun and colorful, which makes brushing much more exciting, and the Sonicare cleaning performance is excellent. The built-in timer also helps encourage them to brush for the recommended amount of time. The battery lasts a long time, and the overall build quality feels sturdy and well-made. It has definitely made our daily brushing routine much easier. One thing to note: I initially thought this version would connect to the Sonicare Kids app via Bluetooth like some of the other models, but this specific model doesn’t include that feature. It wasn’t a dealbreaker for us since the kids still enjoy using it, but it’s worth checking if app connectivity is something you’re looking for. Overall, it’s a fantastic toothbrush, and based on our experience, buying a second one was an easy decision.

I returned it on the spot cause of the broken head and it has been two weeks wothout any actions

I have bought this toothbrush to replace our son's previous one which lasted 3 years great product, would not go for any other brand :)

Before We struggled to get my daughter to regularly brush and to brush everywhere even. Now My daughter loved the stickers, she’s got app set up on her ipad, she brushes regularly without being asked. Each time she brushes there’s 20 second lesson that’s slightly different every time, and there’s a reward at the end. My daughter is 7 and she’s completely zoned in. We can’t believe well it works. Downsides Charger in box has a weird plug, but seller included an adapter for UK 3 pin plug and brush can fit on adult toothbrush charger which comes with USB. App doesn’t sync across devices so don’t set it up on your phone.
