Outstanding
I am going to order 2 more and freeze them. Just the best flavor. I was wanting a fruitcake and could not find one that looked like I wanted. This Penforte is perfect great blend of nuts and citrus peal. A lovely after taste. I want to have it all year long. Highly recommended.

No candied fruits
This is a fig and nut panforte. It’s reminiscent in flavor of the inside of a fig newton bar. Good, but not exactly what I was hoping for. I wanted a more traditional candied fruit and nut version, so I’ll read more carefully next time.

The Best
Other than my Nana who learned her recipe in Sicily this panforte is the best I have ever tasted. Well worth the money. I cut a couple of slender pieces and eat them with wine our coffee after supper.

not as advertised
this item did not contain hazelnuts, but almonds instead. the hazelnuts were really the only reason I wanted to try this item
