Good for cutting holes in porcelain plant pots
It can be risky drilling drain holes in ceramic plant pots as they are so brittle. A better method is to use hole saws such as these. I started off by fitting a mid sized hole saw in my cordless electric drill and making a dent in the porcelain by holding the drill at an angle then slowly bringing the drill to the vertiical. There is a helpful video on YouTube which gave me the method. The saw worked fine on two pots.

OK for small task
Wont last for ever, but will do for DIY projects - where you probably won't use them again!Bit fiddly to get started without any 'centre' drill, but found bracing against knee/leg and letting it cut upwards was easier than trying to get the downward side to cut (as that slipped all over the place).

They work!
For the price you cannot go wrong! These work well and you get a set of sizes so I pressumed they would be one use and chuck but they seem to keep working!! Takes a bit of skill to start with but great value.

Very good buy
These are great value for money. I’ve used them many times, they last well on ceramic and as well as you can expect on porcelain

Great tool at a terrific price
Worked great for drilling a hole through a quartz countertop (1.20"). The maximum cutting depth is 1.17" for the 40mm bit, so a light tap popped out the quartz plug (see pic). FYI, I taped a cutout from a plastic milk container to the counter to control water during the work (see pic). I used the tip-the-drill method to start the hole, which worked well.

Ok bits
They are good but not sure how long they will last/holdup? I used the small bit And most of the “diamond” is gone

Great price, get the job done.
Bought these to install some tiles in a shower, where the handles are. Worked very well. Just be sure to keep them wet while grinding away. One of the larger ones bent as I was angling the cut, but I was able to bend it back enough to get the job done.

Did the job
Did the job. Hard to get started since there is no center point to hold in place, walks across the tile. I took a scrap piece of tile and drilled a hole into it then had my boyfriend hold that piece on top of the tile I needed to cut to prevent it from walking and not cutting where I needed it to. Since I only had two holes to cut for the tub fixtures, these bits worked out fine.

follow guidance
I just got done cutting the two holes I needed done. I cut through porcelain with no issues. Made a wooden template with a wood hole saw, just oversize. Screwed the template over the tile into a work surface. Flooded the hole with sprayed water. Did the angle cut to start, then squared it up and drilled with little pressure and a slight rocking motion. I was apprehensive at first, but the two holes of two different sizes cut like butter. Patience equals great results!
