Was expecting a med. to low quality product for the price. I was completely wrong. This thing is built like a brick. The plastic is thick and high quality. The hardware is all grade 5 nuts,bolts, and washers. The cover is also high quality, thick plastic and has room for KnuKonceptz 0 ga wire. (which is closer to 2/0 ga ).Im using a 250 amp anl fuse and everything stays nice and cool.

Not a bad price, should work great for my project.

I bought this holder because I wanted a cover over the fuse to keep something under the hood from falling across my 80-amp circuit and shorting it to the car chassis, but the cover isn't designed to securely fasten to the base. The plastic tabs that are supposed to lock it down have an engagement of less than 0.04 inches. Even assuming they fully engaged the cover would pop off at the first pothole or loose wire bumping it, and they don't even fully engage. The nickel-plated hardware appears nice and sturdy, but without the cover working I'm going to have to resort to duct-taping it down or something equally ugly.

Cover clips are weak point of this item but for price I did not need covers.

It could stand a little more room for thicker cables on the ends, but is otherwise fine.

Nice fuse block, cover snaps on tightly and stays put. This does not come with any wire terminals or fuses, therefore you supply your own and can use any size wire or fuse. Post to post center is 2 3/8" (61mm) 1/4 long. Nuts are 9/16 (14mm). Two countersunk holes for flush mount screws. I used to fuse a starter on an outboard motor but there would be lots of other uses.

Great fuse holder. I used this when installing a 1500 watt inverter into my truck. They were very easy to install. I used this fuse holder with the Install Bay 150 Amp ANL Fuses that I purchased separately.

Recieved this, packaging was fine. Pulled it out of its bag and the labelling on the cover was all distorted and smeared. Very bad quality control. I wouldn't care if this was out of sight but it will be mounted right on a firewall for everyone to see.

Solid construction, looks good and most importantly cover comes off without major issues. Took a little longer than expected for delivery but not too bad.

Likes: Sturdy and rigid. Back insulator plug is glued well not like the gold plated version
