Very organized!
This book could have not come at a more better time! I was diagnosed with acid reflux today and got the book an hour later. I know an alkaline diet will help me, and the fact that the recipes are organized day by day, makes me feel less overwhelmed. Usually when I would look through a recipe book, I would be like omg there’s too much to pick from and dont know how to organize my meals. This is perfect for me and I look forward to starting!

Great book but page numbers for resources are incorrect.
This book is well organized and reader friendly. Great beginners guide. It makes it simple to prepare for weekly meals. However the proof reader missed somethings. Fir instant on Page 10 it says Resources are on page 199. This is incorrect. On page 199 you still see charts referring to acidic and alkaline food etc.Please Please make this correction. And please tell me what page do I find the personal resources.Awesome recipes. Thanks

Acceptable foods and recipes.
There is a great reference of foods by alkalinity level. Many great tips and recipes.

Conflicting opinions
First, if I had read the dedication, I wouldn't have bought the book. Secondly, some of the chart entries contrast sharply with other dieticians/ food scientists. Don't know why. Thirdly, it could have been made clearer if the reason pecans, pistachios, etc. are listed as alkali is because after being digested, they became so. There was little to no explanation about how HCA in our bodies break down food and change the PH composition. Several recipes looked good.
