Huge disappointment. I bought these for an Alaska trip (rainy, 40 degree weather). They were super stretchy and thick, which I liked, but after putting them on for the very first time for an excursion in the rain and cold, one overshoe ripped apart within the first hour. I was forced to finish the excursion with one wet and cold foot!

I purchased these for a hike when I knew it would be raining and wanted to protect my shoes. These are probably not meant for long distances, but they held up for miles and miles without tearing or any problems. I did have a couple of close calls when walking on non-asphalt surfaces (a wet wooden bridge or a manhole cover, for example) where my foot slipped like I stepped on ice.The biggest issue, for me, was that the covers don't breathe (because they are meant to keep water out) and they got hot. Over time, my feet got sweaty, my socks got sweaty, and then I had a buildup of sweat and condensation inside the cover.Also, they are low-cut, so if you are in rain, moisture can wick down pants to socks inside of cover.I would use these if I had to walk in water, or in a downpour without question. Good for working in a lightly flooded area.I will have to find another hiking solution, however.

These shoe covers are great! They fit perfectly over my shoes according to the size guide. The bottoms are deeply textured to provide grip and traction. They're sturdy and stretchy. I don't think they would rip easily. You do have to put a tiny bit of effort in to pulling them on, but it's not too bad. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who has difficulty bending or reaching their shoes. They slip off pretty easily and are easy disinfect and clean. Definitely saves hassle if disposable shoe covers aren't available.They are just what I needed for protecting my tennis shoes from nasty outdoor weather. Now, I don't have to worry about my pretty shoes getting ruined.These shoe covers are also perfect for nursing or out and about shopping. They protect from tracking unwanted germs into the car or house.Overall, I'd say I'm extremely pleased with this purchase!

when I got them I tried them on for fit but the first time I wore them out, one ripped on the bottom the first time I went to wear them in the rain. very disappointed. I'm getting another pair to see if this one was simply defective or if the silicone just doesn't hold up. I did wear them out ripped as it was pouring and the top of my shoes did stay dry so that's why I'm giving them a second change. I'm also ordering a few diff types to be sure I'm covered. I hope this was a fluke as the idea is good.

I bring in shopping carts and flatbeds at Sam's Club. I walk a lot. 12-16 miles on an 8-hour shift. I live and work in Clearwater Fl and in the summer it rains a lot. Walking around in wet shoes sucks and hurts. These shoe coverings looked promising. Unfortunately, I didn't have these long enough to find out how durable they were. I wore them for a couple of hours one day and they did well. The next time I pushed a fingertip right through the thin material while putting them on and that was that. My shoe filled up with water and into the trash they went. My other foot was still dry by the way.So be careful putting these things on and MAYBE they will keep your feet dry.

Easy to use!!

I use these over my boots when riding my motorcycle in the rain and they keep my feet totally dry. They feel a little slippery when you put your foot down, but as long as you expect it, it's not a problem. My previous bike had rubber foot pegs and I wore the boot covers more then a dozen times without damage. My new bike has metal pegs for off-road and they tore into the bottom of the boot covers after a few uses. Even with the slight tears, they are still functional and keep my feet dry, but I'm ordering a second set to have on hand.

Material, not so great...it ripped/tore almost immediately when placing over top a pair of running shoes. Unable to use them.
