Wooden Unfinished Storage Box with Slide Top

This is perfect for your personal projects or a gift box!The craftsmanship of this is excellent, and it allows you to add your own craftsmanship to it as it is unfinished. Whatever you use it for will be unique and built on a sturdy base. Highly recommended (I've bought a second after seeing the potential it had).I needed something that could contain a small gift for a close friend, and wanted something that slid for an opening. Since most gift boxes that I found didn't meet my aesthetics, or were overpriced for what they were, this worked wonders and allowed it to be a much more personal item.I did some light carving, wood burning, and light staining and it came out excellent for my needs. Just one note: due to the grain of the wood (I'm not sure what type of wood it is, but it is good quality) if you are wanting to use a wood burner on it I would recommend cutting the pattern in first since the tree rings are harder than the rest and cause problems on the wood burning alone, making it uneven. This is the only 'negative' I can find on this product, and even then it is a small one, easily fixed by cutting the design before burning, and then most who purchase it probably won't use it the same way I did.

Needed something small and strong to protect my expensive micrometers

Works well, good for the price, design is good, build quality could be better, and the size is good for storing small items.I shoved 120 plastic babies in it before moving them into a glass jar, could hold 300+ easily.

Well made, smooth enough. Dovetail joints, yet! I ordered second, the lid of which is a smidge looser fitting than the lid on the first. Both serve my purposes well enough. I wanted no metal, needed as biodegradable as possible for burying ashes. I'll cover the top of the ashes with paper to minimize sifting out around the sliding lids before actual burial.

Well made and perfect home for tiny stuffie.

Smaller than I expected (should've read the description I suppose) but it will still serve a good purpose for me! Works great, no problems so far!

The lid sticks

I was able to put 6 25mm dice, 10 19mm dice along with 10 more 19mm dice with room to spare...so I'm guessing if i put 30 more 19mm dice it would be slightly full...the box is nice no flaws and its smells like it was freshly cut and put together....which is awesome!!!!
