Esschert DesignBoot Brush Hedgehog

Its been outside our front door for over a year or two now, basically just a lawn ornament after a few months. We just have a few chickens so its not been used for much passed that an a little mud and definitely not designed to handle much beyond a few grass clippings but it still looks really cute.

I love the look of this but you have a very hard time keeping it in place as you rub off your shoes.

It's too small to be functional for anyone other than a small child and even then it doesn't weigh enough to stay still to use it.

This was a gift and the receipiant loved it. Perfect for by the front door for a little character and works well

Does a good job cleaning shoes before entering the house & attractive enough for the front steps. Wish it were heavier

Nice decorative boot brush. Does not stay in one place as it is not heavy enough for setting on door step but better on soil. Not meant for cleaning heavy mud or muck caked on but good for lighter mess

Cast iron did not make a difference for use. Looks nice though.

Well made and solid but a little smaller than I expected.

I like it very much but for vigorous feet wiping it needs to be fixed to the ground or against a wall as it is quite light

Product could be a bit bigger but the smaller children love wiping their boots on it

Bought this for a gift and have only seen it through a video call as sent it direct, but it looked great! The recipient loves hedgehogs and loves this so much she isn’t letting anybody actually use it! It’s sitting pride of place next to her front door. I quite fancy getting one myself so am happy to recommend.

Attractive iron motif which forms the side and base to the boot brush/scraper. Is good for light amounts of mud.
