Worth the money
This was a gift for a friend and almost wasn’t given because I loved it so much. It was packaged well and the pieces are just stunning. I’ll eventually buy my own set.

Good, but incredibly delicate
We purchased the set from the gift shop at the Robie House. The pieces are gorgeous. They did a good job sculpting the various figures. Beware that the pieces are top heavy, they easily tip over. And for some of the pieces, namely the knight, pawns and bishops, hitting the gameboard can cause them to chip and break. After a few months, we only have one complete knight and two complete bishops. These would be improved if there were a weight in the base.

Pieces cannot withstand normal use
We love chess and FLW, however this beautiful set isn’t for normal use. Far too delicate.
