It IS waterproof!!
We literally received this 15 minutes before we left for our camping trip. No time for a trial set up.It was everything it said, and more! We knew going in to the weekend there was rain forecasted, but we decided what better way to test our equipment than in that situation. The first rain day was a nice rain, not alot of wind...NO LEAKING! The rain didn't really come in through the screens either.Nite 2 was much heavier rain and wind, and it was all night long. We had just a few drips from the very top joint. Rain did come in on the edge area of the sides, but not horrible. When it drains off the top it goes down at the corners, so it didn't impact us inside. We had the campsite table and our kitchen set up all inside, VERY ROOMY!The other point to mention, set up is a breeze! Follow the directions and the color coding (genius idea) and it is ip in about 15 minutes. 2 of us did it together cuz that's how we set up camp.I have recommended the tents to our kids because this is a QUALITY product!

Perfect!
Super easy to set up, the height is great, size is great, and I can’t wait to use it when we go camping.

Nice
Very nice screen tent. holds up pretty good in the wind, has been up for almost two months.Corner and intersecting seams leak a bit, nothing serious and can be sealed once they are stretched out...Worth the money, went thru a couple $100 dollar tents till we bought the Browning, worth the money !!!

Good
I researched a lot of different screen tents and was surprised how many flaws so many of the name brand ones reviewed on popular review sites were…extremely flawed? Like, why would you pay 2x this price for a screen tent that is not water resistant, harder to assemble, and smaller? But I happened on this one and was perfect. We had a full 24 hours of torrential rain and while the edges of the tent got damp from sideways rain the picnic table underneath was totally dry. I put it together by myself. It had plenty of room for a standard picnic table PLUS some camping chairs or a separate prep/cooking table. Was really glad to have this on my camping trip.

Folding poles
I had problems folding the poles with the slight V. It was difficult to tell which side should come apart and fold. I ended up putting a permanent mark on the side that should fold.

Sturdy compact screen tent envy of other campers
We have been very happy with our time and element tested tents and sleeping bags from Alps M./Browning so we expect this screen tent to do just as well since its made from similar sturdy/quality materials. The mosquitoes and no-seeums were really bad at the coast this year so this screen tent helped make the trip more enjoyable. We had several people, on most days, comment about how nice this screen tent is and/or that they wanted one like it. Light to moderate PNW rain showers shed of this tent like water off a ducks back. Nothing inside was damp though if there had been wind I suspect inner contents would get wet since the sides are just screen material.Few of the days at the coast were slightly breezy but nothing too bad, so we don't know for sure how it will do in stronger winds. Will update once we find out.So far its been worth the price tag.Update 3/24/2021When properly staked out this screen tent has held up to mild coast winds which occasionally gusted up to 15mph *per NOAA forecast*. There is no floor so we sometimes put a small spare tarp down so the dog has a sand free spot to lay down and eat. The only improvement that would be nice to eventually see is if they made side panels (either with the tent or as aftermarket optional add ons) to combat rain when its coming in sideways due to wind and for added privacy.Used several times each year and it’s still in great shape as of 2/23/2024. Would recommend.

Perfect size & lightweight
This canopy worked great for a screened in area around the picnic table of our campsite. Packs into a much smaller bag and is MUCH lighter to carry than the bigger framed instant canopies. It didn’t rain on the one trip I’ve used it for so far so I don’t know about waterproofing, but it seems like it would be fairly stable under a light rain. You do have to be sure to stake down the four corners. A gentle wind shifted it so that it was against the table as soon as we realized it moved it back into place, and staked the corners and didn’t have that problem again.

Straight trash
I had multiple tears in the top after the first use.. Nothing fell on it.. No sticks around.. Wasn't rough when putting it up. Just won't hold up to normal use. Also the sides aren't quite long enough to touch the ground all the way around.
