Just what you expect from evans

These heads absolutely sing and have a great tone makes the kit sound really good especially for gigs you can never go wrong with these.

I bought these on the recommendation of a YouTube video that suggested they sound great on acrylic drums. They're good but I like the EC2 better.

What a great set of drum heads! These were put on a cheap drumset for a youth camp. They sound amazing. We paired them with dampening rings and within an hour, we got that set sounding great!

I'm a loyal Evans guy. I love their concepts. Starting off with the cons. These heads will get marked up after playing them for a while. As all heads do. So don't expect for the shiny black chrome look to stay on there. That's it. Lol. Threw these beauties on my pearl vision birch kit. I was kind of afraid of them being a thicker head, the timbre of the birch would kinda dry out the sound. But no! It hasn't. I get a nice full tone out of my toms. My toms sound "moist" if you must. They're also pretty sensitive too. According to Evans they actually Boost the low frequencies and I totally agree. My Hi-toms sound round and fat and got a lot of smack to em'. And my floor tom just straight ROARS. It sounds like thunder. Also, my kit is jet black finish (which is partly the reason why I was leaning towards these heads) and it just looks sexy now. Also Evans did a nice job putting the clear ply on top whick give them such a crazy reflective look from a distance plus they shine. But only for a short while until you start beating on em. But damn they can really take a hit. Sometimes I go crazy and start just beating on them like crazy and they hold their pitch. Definetly loving these black chrome drumheads by Evans. I would recommend these to anyone who likes their toms to sound Fat with a good amount of attack. Overall a great product as are all evans heads.

I've used these heads before and I can say they are excellent. This particular purchase was lackluster as the purchase was indicated as "New" but I definitely received a tom pack that had been opened before. How do I know? The Evans sticker (circular) that keeps the pack closed was ripped in half and the container was re-secured with packing tape. Pretty sure that's not "New".The 10" and 12" heads have scratches on them. The 16" tom had a plastic clip attached to the ring.I am hoping this is a one-off and the replacement is in-fact new. Always check the box your product arrives in.

I've been using Evans heads for many years. IMHO the G2 coated heads are the absolute best. A perfect balance of tone and durabiltiy, as well as affordability. Check 'em out.

Good heads at the price I gave. I really like the look of the frosted heads. But these are quite a bit more muffled than I like compared to G2 clears. I realize that is popular with all the close-field micing nowadays but not so great for acoustic/unmiked situations.

I don’t generally leave negative reviews but unfortunately this is not good enough..So I decided to give these Evans a try after using remo head for years. Very disappointed in the build quality! One of the Hoops are not joined correctly so it doesn’t sit flat on the drum.. I also I found a small hole through the under-layer on another head “in the same pack”. On The other hand the heads sound okay.. still not as good as I was expecting. I think I will stick to Remo heads! 🤘🏻

Bought for daughters drum kit. She seems happy with them. Rates them highly and loves the sound, for better than what came with her new Yamaha kit.

Love these skins for rock drumming. Give me the rich sound I like. Great value set.

I normally use Aquarian coated, but I thought I’d give these a try. Wow! These are real game changers. Great response, easy tuning and this new coating will last for ever! Very impressed.

The perfect heads for tuning, tone, looks and overtone reduction. In my opinion
