Warmables Lunch Kit for Kids Keep Food Warm for several Hours, Hot Pink

If there was a zero star, that would be my rating. The cherry pits (30 second warming caught on fire) are not durable.Rated a 1 for the concept.

It kept the food warm however my daughter got teased about the smell.

It does not warm any better than a thermos. Very disappointed

Nice idea to keep my kids lunches warm for school. Its a little big, but i am able to fit it in my kids lunch box. We will see how it holds up throughout the year.

Cherry seeds smell (not bad but they do smell) and theydon't stay as hot as I expected.

They work ok, not great, Tested on my own lunch and it does not last longer, or keep hotter than other much cheaper methods like thermos containers, not thrilled, in the end don't feel they are worth the high price. Plus plastic container has stained and has bubbling even though it's supposed to be microwave safe? Would not recommend. If you want a hot lunch by noon, try filling up a thermos with boiling or really hot water for 5-10 minutes with cover on. That method has worked much better for us!

After being in a lunch slump for a few weeks I decided to seek out something that would keep my family's food warm even better than my Thermos. Warmables popped up in my Amazon search. I was so happy to see something that was #1 chemical free and #2 reusable. When I found out it was made right here in the United States, I was even more even more excited to add a Warmables product to my home. Before I pulled the trigger and made it official, I called the company to try and learn more about the product. One of the owners answered and I could tell she was likely very busy but that didn't stop her from answering all of my questions and informing me even more on how Warmables work... Her actions make me pretty certain that this is a company that stands behind their products.I have tried this Warmables set two ways:1. The Warmables paired with a Thermos- I heated my food, I heated the Warmables and I ran my Thermos through hot water, Next I put the Warmables into the double insulated thermal pouch that will come with your Warmables set. 5 hours later I opened my soup and it was as if I had just heated it up on the stove top. Worked GREAT2. Warmables and a plastic storage container- This worked just as well! For this meal I prepared chicken nuggets and potato wedges, nearly 5 hours later my lunch was STILL WARM!In other reviews you will find people saying that this set is "bulky" - Sure! You could say that but it WILL fit into various lunch totes. You may have to step outside of the tote you normally use but to me (I know many people will agree) That is worth it to be able to enjoy warm meals from home on the go.I am very thankful to have found a way to keep my family's lunch warm. I look forward to adding more products from Warmables to my home. My only regret is not finding this a few years ago when we had a baby on the bottle. Would have been so nice to have this to keep milk warm.
