Ah, finally, homemade donuts for me!
These great little silicone pans work just great! I saw a recipe for some yummy autumn paleo donuts and ordered these pans so I could finally make myself some donuts after a decade without them. The pans came quickly and are exactly as described. A postcard was included that provided a few basic recipes, use, cleaning instructions, and a link for more recipes. I ran them through the top level of the dishwasher without a heated dry cycle, let them dry, and set about to make some donuts! Make sure you use a cooking spray (as directed) and allow the donuts to cool a bit before popping them out of the pans. I had delicious fancy donuts in no time! The pans were easy to clean up and store! I am super pleased with them!

These work great!
I had never made donuts before so I was skeptical. That being said, you should definitely heed the warnings about not completely filling the pan with batter for each donut. This will result in some seriously ugly-looking muffins (monuts? duffins?) with holes in them. I included a pic of the donuts I made with these pans. I made 4 boxes of them for co-workers. The pans are well-made and they cleaned up easily after use.

Not like other silicone baking pans
I wanted to try baking donuts, as they are a favorite with my mother, hubby and granddaughter. Skipping the fried part meant that I could do it at home--I don't do fried foods much for health, mess, and economic reasons. With some effort, I've discovered that unlike other silicone baking pans, you do have to spray non-stick spray LIBERALLY on these or the resulting baked donuts do not come out without breaking, tearing, or sticking. (Most silicone pans are ruined by non-stick spray.) I also usually toss them into the dishwasher, which makes clean up easy but it WILL collect water and you'll have to dump it off and dry them before storing them.In general, any muffin recipe works well for baked donuts. Even muffin mixes will work better than actual cake batter does. (Cakes are pretty tender for removing from a donut pan.) For best results, you want a very thick batter, not one resembling cake or pancake batter, and fill the donut slots about 1/2-2/3 full.I have not found that the e-book of recipes (more pamphlet than book, btw) is any help, although I did try those first. I have also found recipes online. I have not tried baking yeast donuts yet, but that is on my list of things to try.The pans are fairly sturdy, and while the directions say to put them on a baking sheet, I have had the best luck baking them on the rack directly at 350-375 degrees F. My mother loves the baked donuts, whereas I regard them as ring shaped muffins. Any recipe or mix that makes a dozen regular sized muffins will do all 3 pans of donuts (18 in all) perfectly. I also know that my donut devouring trio will make all 18 disappear in 2 days.I cannot compare these donut pans to other donut pans. However, I have a variety of muffin cups, muffin pans, etc. in silicone. These compare to those fairly well, with the only difference being that these need that liberal spraying of non-stick spray to work well, whereas the others all work well without. I'm not a chemist, so I have no idea if these are "pure" silicone or not. I never have noticed an off flavor or odd plastic odor to the pans either. I would purchase these for gifts or for myself again if I needed more donut pans though, if that helps.

Worth it, completely!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these silicone donut moulds. Super easy to use, I gave them a light spray with oil and placed the moulds on my xlrg baking sheet. I used box cake mix and tweaked it for my own personal taste, cooking the donuts at 350 for about 15 minutes, then checking every couple minutes. I was able to effortlessly pop them out, and no scrubbing was necessary. You can see in the picture very little cake stuck to the moulds. The dishwasher easily took care of the rest. A box of cake mix made 24 donuts. I recommend under filling instead of over filling. I highly recommend these quality donut silicone moulds over any tin options.

You need to find your own recipe
I like the pans but the recipe book that came with them had nothing about donuts so I am still working on finding recipes for them.

Good quality
The quality of silicone is good and the doughnuts are easy to remove from the pans. The size of doughnut produced is smaller than most commercial doughnuts.
