Strong and sturdy does what it says!

Great product. So happy that i could just put straight into the soil.

This spike was of good quality and can see it lasting a long time. However, this spike would not work with our existing rotary washing line even though it fit the dimension of pole. Must have been our type of washing line, for some reason it wouldn't close up when not being used. In the end we decided not to chance buying another spike and bought a new airer complete with spike to ensure we got a perfect fit second time around.

Easy of assembly

Its Okay, cant give it more than that, the spike is solid enough and came with a cap to hammer it into the ground which is also solid, the various sizes are a good idea and so is the water cap, but and sadly there is a but - the spike goes in well, but as soon as the sumer comes the ground dried and i could pull it out with my hand, so now the washing line is leaning, so its needs to be concreted in, they do say so, but its also advised that you can just bang it into the ground, which does not really work that well - The different sizes are great but when you pull the washing line out, all the other sizes come out as well, and the cover cap again good idea, the plastic tab, that held it to the rest of the spike snapped off within a month or so.

Would only buy this brand and it was excellent value for money, as my old one lasted years! Would highly recommend.

This pole was perfect for my newly purchased rotary airer. I initially bought the airer separately only to realise that one needed to fill a space with concrete and set the support in it, considering this is going in the middle of a garden in a rented property, I couldn't do that.So, I checked the pole width and bought this soil spike.By placing a 2 inch thick piece of wood over the top of the spike and then hammer it down into some damp earth, it was within the ground in under 10 seconds, very sturdy, doesn't protude too much and works perfectly.A great solution without permanent damage to the lawn.The pole itself is strong and looks like it'll last several years before rusting and decaying.

I was a little conserned when I bought this because my clothes line came from Europe with me and was in metric dimensions. I was afraid I wouldn't find a standard size adapter to fit it but this one worked just fine. It holds storong in the ground even when the line is loaded with heavy wet clothes. It sits low enough that I run the mower right over it and don't have to worry about hitting the cover.

I bought this to use with the Household Essentials H-150 30-Line Outdoor Parallel-Style Clothes Dryer with Steel Arms that I also bought from Amazon. The clothes dryer came with a plastic housing which I did not think would be sturdy for repeated insertion/removal. We never leave the clothes dryer out when not in use. We take it out when we need to dry clothes, and then store it out of the elements when not in use. The Minky Soil Spike was ideal. We have it next to our patio so I don't have to trek across the grass to hang clothes.

Works well

So far so good on the spike-it hasn't survived a hurricane yet but I have no doubt it will. fits our Minky Rotary clothes line with a tiny bit of wiggle room.
