This an excellent device for illuminating an oil or watercolour painting that has no glass in the frame. Excellent gold colour that matches my frame.

Really neat product, looks great and not too bright. Also, no wiring required!

This is a bit of cheap tat worth probably about £10. I brought it to use on a family portrait, but found the picture showing 180 degree turn was misleading. It only turns 90 degrees. The light was so poor that we could see nothing of the ancestor's face but had to hang it loose directly on top of the portrait. There is a gap in the market for a decent battery powered light that will fix to the frame of a picture, rather than to the wall. This sadly is not it!
