Great for currents up to 4-6Amp. for hobby application. Any higher and better go for industrial types from RS or Farnell etc.These are of course low voltage guess max 24V as the screw is touched when pushing the plug in.If that is the case then these work well as they did in my case.

These are fair value for the money but they are not a lot of money but not a lot of quality to them either. They work fine and do the job but if your building a system where you want reliability and quality then spend more and get better ones. But with this kit you get a lot of them and a screwdiver for the fixing screw.

Hello.I've been on the lookout for these type of colored banana plugs. I've already ordered some from eBay/Aliexpress and they were all defective. I thought that these ones on Amazon may be of a better quality (since they appear golden), but I was wrong - they suffer from the same problem.The metal plugs that stick out of the plastic connector housing have this thin-sheet metallic wrapping round them that supposedly "tightens" the pin and makes better contact when the banana plug is inserted into a socket. The problem is that the wrapping is too loose - its diameter is too big for the underlying metal pin, and it spins around effortlessly. Even when one of these banana plugs is fully inserted into a socket the connector will wiggle inside because there is still too much free spacing. Thus, this makes a bad electrical contact and the plugs may not be suitable for high-power (several amps) lab applications.Sorry.
