Goods but slow to charge

Needed one of these to keep my bike battery topped up after finding battery discharged yet again after a couple of weeks standing unused. Unit plugs into mains directly and has around 6ft cable with connecting plug on other end. The other cable has crocodile clips on it which can be removed exposing two eyes that connect directly to the battery. It's a pain to access the battery on my bike so I chose this method. This 2nd cable is around 18 inches long and required routing to find an easily accessible dry and clean place for connecting to main lead. You can buy longer cables if needed. No instructions in box. Go online and find them. Not the simplest to understand but main thing is know your battery type, ie. agm, lead acid. All up and running very happy so far. Observed it going through it's different phases and now has steady green light. Update: Unit developed a fault shortly after install following a very promising start. Made contact with Noco technical support who agreed that the unit was faulty and helpfully offered to assist with my return. Not required as Amazon returns process is excellent. Ordered the same as a replacement on the assumption that I can't be unlucky twice. New unit arrived next day and works (so far) as it should.

Bought to keep my motorcycle charged up in the garage. Got a lot of Noco products they are a very good manufacturer.

I bought this for my Porsche to keep the battery topped up when not in use over winter. Although it’s not designed for this size battery and probably wouldn’t charge it from flat it’s exactly what I wanted,just a really steady charge , it took over a week to charge from below 75 % to just below 100% . I’m very happy with it just plugged it in it automatically selected the 12v option and a steady blinking red light turned to green eventually. If I wanted to charge it quickly I have an old style trickle charger which just takes a few day’s.

Rubbish. Hooked it up to my Mercedes E300; the battery was low, not dead. Selected the right battery option, and all I'm getting is a red and green light pulsing. Nowhere in the instruction manual does it tell you what this means; nothing on YouTube either. If you have an expensive car, spend a little extra and get a proper trickle charge this is NOT the one.

I ordered 5 units, but only 2 came in sealed packaging. One was used before, so it looked like a return. Other than that they all work fine.
