Very pretty gravel rocks. although i expected more. It was a very small bag but rocks are heavy so 1lb isnt too alot. They come in a sealed bag with water and live bacteria.

Starting a 2nd second tank and bought this to add a different texture and color to the substrate. You would need quite a few bags if your total substrate - one bag is about 1-1 1/2 cups of "sand". VERY coarse. However as an accent I love it. Many don't think you should mix substrates, however what ocean, lake, river, pond has only one? No need to rinse even though packed in some reddish water and by slowly adding water to the tank it didn't muddy the water like I expected. Very happy with the purchase!

I bought this to add to the already existing substrate in my five gallon Betta tank and as a potting medium for the plant in the tank. It is very natural be looking, a bit smaller than the gravel I see at the pet store but definitely not sand. Pretty much what you'd expect from looking at the pictures. My tank was done cycling so I don't know it it helps that but it didn't hurt anything either. Very nice product

First off let me say I love the color of this rock & have purchased multiple times in various colors.. I’m not sure if I’m supposed to dump all contents in aquarium or drain the liquid so I go 1/2 drain. There are 2 different instructions on bags

I used the sand like a river stream with river rock. It looks nice and all the fish seem to like it.

actually mixed this with other stuff and it helped my bettas

It has a very natural look. My water was cloudy for a day or so but my beta didn't seem to mind. His color is a little brighter and he is just as active as before so I am happy with it.

So happy to find this anywhere. it worked great, I was able to put in my shrimp and frogs right away and had no problems with having to add anything else. In a week, my fish come in. Thank you
