Wonderful book about a disabled boy and his disabled rescued dog.
I really enjoyed this book. It was sad to see Little B in the beginning in the mental state he was in. Then it was amazing how the dog brought him out of that mental state into a new and happy mental state. It amazed me how the dog seemed to know what was going on all the time as if he was a person. Also how he was not aggressive after what he had gone through at the train tracks. Also, thank you so much for putting the pictures in.

must read
A beautiful story about the connection between a boy and his dog. Both in need of something and they found that βsomethingβ in one another. Beautiful beautiful story. When I think of this book I simply smile.

Deeply moving.
I smiled and cried, sometimes simultaneously, as I read this true story. Haatchi is a profoundly special dog, subjected to the worst cruelty yet retaining faith in human beings, particularly a deep love for his new human family and his most special friend, Little B. This is a deeply moving, heart warming tale of devotion, hope, joy, and real-life miracles. My only dislike was for the tendency of Little B.'s stepmother to use extremely off-putting baby talk when referring to Haatchi in the Facebook page she set up for the dog. Every time the author referred to those infantile expressions, I cringed. But that is not the fault of the author, nor would everyone agree with me. I gave the book 5 stars hoping to encourage people to read it. Your life will be much brighter afterward.

My favorite human/dog team!
Owen and Haatchi are amazing. I've been following their Facebook page for years now and I never get tired of seeing pictures of these two. If you see Owen speak, there are short documentary's about him, he is the most positively charming lil' man ever! Not to mention inspiring. What he goes through pain wise every day of his life yet keeps such a good attitude is nothing short of astounding. Haatchi has been part of the solution for him, which shows how amazing the connection between dogs and humans can be.

True Unconditional Love in Action
Have your box of kleenex ready as you read this book. The trials and problems that Haatchi and Little B have both overcome is truly inspirational. They are the perfect match as an example of unconditional love that can happen when you least expect it. Little B's stepmom is to be highly praised also in the way she has added love and grace to the family. Being an animal lover, I was overcome with emotions on the cruelty that was to be the start of Haatchi's story. Every book club should add this to their reading list.

The story of a big gentle dog and a brave little boy
It's 1am and I have just finished reading the story of Haatchi and Little B, a book I found difficult to put down so would heartily recommend it! What a remarkable duo Haatchi and Little B are. The tear-jerking story of Haatchis rescue is ultimately uplifting and it's safe to say that the many acts of human kindness truly make a difference to how this story unfolds. Wendy Holden captures the emotional roller coaster of this story and life with the Howkins Drummond family beautifully from Haatchis dramatic rescue right through to the joy of Will and Colleens fairy tale wedding. If you don't already know this story then you must read it and if you do know the story, read it anyway, it's captivating. The heart warming story of Haatchi and Little B's wonderful bond and friendship is a journey that's just beginning. I look forward to reading the next instalment one day very soon.

Box of hankies needed
I did a really silly thing, I had to go to town on Wednesday and knew I had over half an hour to kill, so I took this book with me. BIG Mistake. I decided to go into McD's for a coffee, sat down and started to read, five minutes may be a bit of an exaggeration but within 5 minutes, I had tears rolling down my cheeks, sniffing and hardly able to even drink the coffee. Had to find a few tissues and regain composure. One of the people who work there, come up and said are you ok? I showed them the book, and they too have a FB account and know of Haatchi and Little B, but didn't know the book was out, so they went off with the name of the book, and said they'd get the tissues on the way home and order the book when they got there. This is a wonderful book about a very special family, you will be sorry you missed it, if you don't get it, just what-ever you do don't forget the tissues.

Haatchi and LIttle B [hardcover]
This book is by turns sad, happy and inspirational. I read the true story of Haatchi and Owen [ the Little B of the book as it is his nickname] in a magazine and of course I had to have the book. Aside from the two main characters, everyone who played a part in saving Haatchi and his recovery is given credit and we get to know his and Owen's lovely, determined and dedicated family. The journey these two have travelled individually and are travelling together will make you cry and will make you laugh and ultimately it is inspiring. It astounds me that Haatchi is so gentle and forgiving after what he went through and-yes- Owen is 'awesome'- to use a favourite word of his. The love they share and the effect the have one each other is truly amazing: they were meant to be together.I read the book in one sitting- I couldn't put it down. You should read it!

moving, inspiring and humorous
If you saw Hattchi and Owen winning Friends for Life at Crufts 2013 then you MUST read this book. The courage, determination and fun, yes fun, with which Hattchi and Owen and his family have faced all the problems they have had to face is inspiring. It makes you realise how lucky you are. I read this in two sittings. I cried and I smiled. Thank you for showing that it is the owner who affects how the dog behaves. The bad start Haatchi had could have put him off humans for ever. Instead, he gives and receives so much love.A book to read and re read.

Lovely true story
These 2 are inseparable and they have been through so much, that poor dog, some people need locking up for the way they treat animals!! But Haatchi was lucky to find Owen and visa versa, they were so meant to be together they are such a lovely strong family and I now have them on Facebook so I'm able to keep up with progress, and Haatchi's regular Friday post of "kiss a freckle Friday"I thoroughly recommend this book for everyone who likes a feel good true story.
