Design Toscano SP15006 The Deer Fawn Sculpture, rust

Nice little sculpture. A little smaller than I percieved it to be, but still very cute. I already have a place for it in my garden.

Love this piece in my garden, well made and very heavy. Very Happy with this purchase. My favorite item in my yard.

Small but expensive looking.

At first glance, this is a sweet little fawn statue. From a distance, in a garden, up to his knees in flowers or grass, acceptable. But despite his sweet face and nice pose, the workmanship is crude. It appears he was painted prior to the welding overage being ground or filed off. This could have been worked into the design as the back hide ridge, but there was no repainting of the filed areas. The body and legs are not the same ratio size so there is a big dip where the body and legs are joined. Also, on the back side in the rib area, there is a large irregularity and a small void. I think this could have been repaired or at leat painted but it was left untreated. Sadly, this could have been so much prettier and long lasting with attention to detail and better workmanship. It was well packed and is quite heavy. It will not move easily.

Super adorable lawn ornament! It has some weight to it so it won’t fall over. This is well made and very cute in my garden my neighbors have already asked where I got it. They have given me a lot of compliments already! It’s a nice metal statue, however it is a little smaller than I expected but that is ok. I’d rather not have a life size deer in my front garden. Well manufactured and a quality item. The price point is a little high but it is a nice quality so I find it worth while.
