Thought the entire secure "closable ring" was going to be black but no! The rings are Shiny Metal in Silver. Was hoping that whole thing was black like my shower sprayers and controls. That would be great as there is no silver anything in my master bath. In the scope of "problems" .... It is picky and stupid to be bothered by it... But it's bugging me. Won't replace them as they work, which my previous rings didn't ... They wouldn't securely close and fell apart. They were cheap plastic. (Stinking rotten.) So I needed sturdy rings for my large shower curtain. Haven't had any cleaning issues or rust. Had 2 rings left over. BUT I had to buy TWO sets because one set doesn't have enough rings. Kind of misleading ... So count how many ring holes are in your shower curtain and order according to how many you need. One box might not be enough for you. It wasn't for us. The rings go on tight on my 10' long shower curtain tension rod. (Didn't want to put holes in my tiles. Might scratch the rod to take off.) Very tight fit but loose enough to move the drape. Have liner in the inside and have shower fabric drape on window side so it doesn't look like a shower curtain from the street AND prevent transparent curtain from the street side. Stable curtain rings with black beads to ease sliding drape up and down rod. So far, so good (other than the silver).

Finally I don’t have to yank on the shower curtain to open or close it! These make it so simple and I wish I’d had known about them sooner! They glide easily over the rod and what a great thing that is!

Had this for about a month. Purchased to replace plastic closed loop shower curtain hooks (popped open and came off curtain) which were purchased your place open plastic shower curtain hooks (also came off curtain frequently) which were to replace hooks that looked very similar to these from a big box store with an orange logo (rusted in a week). These do not flip around on the bar, so far they have not shown any signs of rusting, and they slide easily without getting snagged. Highly recommend.

They did the job!

These shower curtain hooks are definitely not stainless steel, as they claim. They easily stick to a magnet and after only a couple of months in use at the shower, they are already showing signs of rust. Avoid.

One broke trying to gently put it on rod. I doubt it’s stainless steel. Definitely do not recommend.
