Needs Editing
There aren't many international law casebooks out there, so I guess it's not surprising that no one seems to know how to write a decent one yet. This book is so full of rambling "commentary" and fine-print minutiae that you won't really emerge with a clear understanding of international law. The book is a decent compendium of cases, but don't expect intelligible insights from the author.

Very good condition. Good price for such an expensive book
Very good condition. Good price for such an expensive book. I bought it for an undergraduate international law class. I ended up not needing the book as the professor provided detailed outlines. But it was still nice to have and even read. The language is not very easy to understand - as it is for law students. But it was still a very informative book.

Very clumsy
Not sure if its the professor of the class or the test book or both. Too much going on! As much as I love public international law this book can make you dislike it! It goes on and on and on

Great book!
Great book! Enjoyed reading the notes mixed in with the legal explanations--the notes gave context to the laws and described case law in depth.

Not good at all.
Horrible. Book cover was torn. I had to tape front and end cover. Many parts underlined. Seemed quite old. More than unsatisfactory.
