Love It
Appears well-made, adjust easy and small size to keep in tool pouch.

Cheap but still not worth it
Cheap is the word. Even still, it's not worth it. The parts do not fit together well, adjusting the clamp and the blade depth is a guessing game. Once you finally get everything dialed in, the chatter and snipe is awful on hard wood.Do yourself a favor and either buy a better quality hand plane or use a shinto rasp

Inexpensive
Great deal for the money. I only needed it to plane one door.

Continue looking.
Lesser quality than I was expecting. Have the tablesaw fence from them and expected better because of it. Just a poorly designed and cheaply made unit. Will probably just be collecting dust on a shelf. Disappointed.

shop fox block plane
had to flatten sole and sharpen blade, but that's expected with all new and vintage planes. Made in China, quality is just not there. Lot of fine tuning to get it to work...the iron bed is not machined very well and the cap lock doesn't work smoothly. If you want a good quality block plane you will have to buy a vintage plane, none of the crap out there today even comes close to operating like it should. Once you clean it up some it makes a fine paper weight.

Three Stars
Frog is difficult to adjust. Blade slips and cuts unevenly if not torqued down tightly.

if you are a masochist, buy this
1. lock lever would not move. i took dremel and smoothed out the notches on the bail. this worked - sort of2. this has the accuracy of a blunderbuss at 100 yards.end result 4 hours messing with this and 15 minutes doing the job i bought it for. i no longer have the need for high end tools so i got this. job got done but really do not buy this if you value your sanity.

It's okay
The bottom opening for the plane blade (mouth) wasn't at all square, or even resembling a decent rectangle where the iron protrudes. It looks the part of a quality handplane, but the finer manufacturing lacks. Should have just bought the Stanley I saw at Home Depot. However, it does plane wood... not recommended for fine woodworking, but would be okay for general carpentry or a finishing carpenter. Makes great shavings for a hamster's cage.

If you think you can make this work. You can’t.
Chinese crap. Even after about an hour of flattening the sole the adjustment was so sloppy it’s not worth using.
