Adequate for general use storing and transporting figures.
This surprised me when it arrived as it was not at all what I expected. I almost made a terrible mistake while unpacking it. The box inside the box that I thought was part of the packaging, was the actual box with the foam blocks in. It was only the white 'stitching' around the edges that made me stop and think for a moment. Now, having said that, I was a little disappointed as I had hoped the box would be a bit more rigid than it is. That's not to knock this product, more my expectations of what it was. The foam is soft enough to give and cushion a figure without being flimsy and floppy, so good protection for your figure collection. The box is moderately rigid and stackable, so you can pile a few on top of each other if needed. It's light enough that it doesn't add much weight to it's contents and strong enough to take a fair bit of weight. I'm not confident that this will stand up to the large collection of lead and white metal figures I've got, it just doesn't feel strong enough to maintain integrity with that much weight in it. But it will certainly handly plastic figures like those produced from most games companies these days. For my collection of metal, I think I may have to invest a bit more money and get one of the fabric based bags that may just take the weight. This is a good product, (if a tad overpriced in my opinion,) for what it is. It is sufficiently large that you can carry a fairly extensive army in this and as it is relatively small, it's absolutely ideal for storage and transportation as it has quite a small footprint. Unlike those hacking great 'artist case' like things from a certain games company, these are actually sensibly designed. For plastic figures, general use and transporting to wherever you game, this is perfect. Manageable size, good content space and strong enough for average use.If like me you have a large collection of lead, alloy and white metal figures, you might want to look at a different product. This will probably work for storage, and the foam packaging will keep figures safe, but I don't think that the design, or the handle will stand up to carrying that much weight, not for long anyway.

Cardboard goodness
Super value, having used it for a few weeks now I have noticed that the lid need to be kept on firmly - this is done by ensuring the handle is extended and pushes against the cardboard case. It holds 180 figures, although I am using it for all my Imperial Assault figures so have cut bigger holes and through the layers to hold my AT-ST walkers and it works like a charm.SO much cheaper than the alternatives.

Some foam in a cardboard box
It's not horrible, but it's horribly overpriced for what it is, and doesn't even come fully made. Essentially a black cardboard box with some cut foam inside. They didn't even bother to remove the voids, leaving you with a ten minute job and a garbage bag full of foam cubes to get rid of.

Lots of storage in a handy case
The Defender Figure & Storage Case is a multi configurable storage device for many sizes of figure. The foam inserts come in a variety of pre cut out sizes and stack easily in the box. Handy for storing or carrying a campaign load of figures.Light and rugged, it’s a nice add for anyone with a large figure collection and stops them from spreading all over your house.

Fantastic storage option!
I'm really happy with this case. Slightly bigger and much sturdier than similar designs I've bought from other brands. I got the Primaris insert option which really useful with two size options on each tray. It would be suitable for other armies such as Grey Knights and Custodes where the figure count isn't very high but the models require more space. I even use a tray for my Death Guard Plague marines and characters.

Five Stars
My son was thrilled with this as he can now store his figures safely and neatly.

Easily worth the £20 you’ll spend on it.
Ok, so for £20 this was absolutely worth its money. The box itself is really sturdy and ideal for storage.Lots of space for my minis to fit comfortably.Really liked the foam squares inside as well. They will one day become scenery. My only beef with it was the foam inserts inside. One of mine, the glue had not separated from the cube and when I did remove it, it split the base beneath it. Rendering 2 insert squares a bit broken.

Good for the money
A very good product that holds a good amount of minis safely and securely.A downside would be that at the end of the day, its made of cardboard and as such isn't the most sturdy of materials.
