This magazine is great. I personally have not seen it in any stores so I had to order it via subscription. It doesn't come out monthly but every issue I have received is chocked full of recipes I want to try. It, as the title suggests, is geared toward food with a little kick. Some type of pepper is always presented and so far nothing has disappointed. They have a hotness scale, so you know upfront if it's mild or very hot. I also like the sections that talk about areas to visit and the food to try while there. This last issue featured San Antonio and had some great advice on places to go and try.

BEST ONE I GET..
If you like FLAVOR and Southern cooking, you need this in your collection. I will never stop getting this Mag. It does have a lot of spice and heat to the recipes but you can always adjust that according to your level of tolerance! What is fun are all the recipes from the best places, reviews of restaurants in different regions and they feature different cusines each issue, Mexican, Cajun, BBQ which are all just excellent. I have kicked up my cooking a notch with this mag. and have found many new recipes my family just raves about.GET IT...you won't find it easily in the stores...SUBSCRIBE!!SJW in Michigan

Worth the money!
This is my Husbands favorite magazine! I was thrilled to find it here on Amazon for a better price~ We have scaled all the magazines back to only two; Chile Pepper, and Cuisine At Home. We really look forward to receiving them!

For a hot pepper collector and cook
I ordered this magazine last year for my aunt for her birthday last year and renewed it for her again this year. She is a great cook and is always on the look out for new recipes. She has her kitchen decorated in Chili Peppers and collects hot sauces , so when I saw this I thought she would like it. She says she looks forward to each issue and that she loves that it features a different cuisine each time. Lots of info and great recipes.

Receipes great, Magazine to pricey
If one is wanting to learn how to use spices and peppers in their cooking, this book is tops. It is however, to expensive for old, fat, bald guys to pay for. A year's subscription is in its own folder and maybe in the future, I will find a cheaper rate and re-subscribe.
